Hi Honeymooners...I believe if you can direct the toddler to crawl, or walk if they know how, to the dresser and have them plan outfit, just like you would do any other sim, that should work. :)

That's right.  Just click on the dresser with the toddler and you'll get the plan outfit option just like with an adult.  You just have to make sure that the parent puts the child on the floor and that there aren't any stairs between the toddler and the dresser.

I'll have to do that too.

My toddler wasn't wearing a shirt when she aged up... ???

That is ridiculous. What toddler can crawl over to dresser and change their own clothes?

Same thing with hair, just go to the mirror?

Hehe, Sim toddlers are a lot smarter than real life ones.  ;D

And Real life adults are a lot smarter than Sim adults.
Especially that annoying pathing/routing problem.

"Huh, who put that wall here?" ???

I know what you mean Kreathyr. :D

What really annoys me is when you put a very nice plant on the dresser and have sim plan outfit and they stand there and wave their lil arms cause the plant is preventing them from using dresser.  ???
I just want to smack em!  >:(

giggles...yeah I was surprised to see that the toddler could use the dresser and mirror on their own, took me awhile to figure that one out on my own.  :o  I certainly understand wanting to smack a Sim when that stupid pathing problem occurs, especially when I have more than one door/archway into a room and they all pile up to just use one entry.  ??? ::)

Yeah. Pathing shouldn't be a problem... I remember playing baldur's gate (an rpg back in the day) they had excellent pathing. You could select the pathing setting based on your cpu and how much resource you wanted to devote to it. This shouldn't be a problem with modern cpus and I hope they fix this with a patch. Really annoying.

I am going to implement a search function on the site soon, because I do have that info on changing toddler clothes in the parenting guide. It'll make it easier to find this information.

Good idea on the search option.
I do remember reading something about changing the appearance of toddlers.

Also, wierdest thing happened: One of my sims (non legacy) failed to go to work one day.
I got this message that he missed work.
Upon checking this out, I found him stuck between the mailbox and trashcan.
He was all like: "O no a mailbox on one side and a trashcan on the other. What to do, can someone please help me? I'll die!!"

Here's a tip:  turn 90 degrees and put a few steps forward.
Must admit that I repositioned the mailbox and trashcan, so the odds of this happening again are probably one in a billion.

Considering how old Baldur's gate is, pathing problem shouldn't be a problem at all.
I want my sims to be smarter and not dumb to be blocked by a mailbox and some trashcan.
And I always hate it when they throw a tantrum when their route is blocked like it's my fault when it clearly isn't.
Maybe that's the reason why some of us enjoy what evil sims like to do to other sims.

Wonder what will happen when you let 7 evil sims live in a house with a sim who has the 'good' trait  ;D
