Can I uninstall World Adventures and save Household?

Here we go.

Have managed to save a household where a couple were maxed out in all skills, the home was custom built and has been saved while playing World Adventures.
As World Adventures has become unplayable (glitchiest game I have ever played - yes, I have done manual reinstalls) I was wondering this.

The house (with couple with maxed out every skill, Pangu's Axe, Woohooium ingots, a nectar cellar....basically it has everything) is saved to the library.
If I uninstall World Adventures, will the house still be in the library and usable without WA?
If I also take out Late Night, will it be usable?

Any help appreciated.

The house should still be usable, the game will simply replace any WA/LN objects, doors, wall coverings, etc. with other items that you do have. I'm not sure what will happen to gems, ingots, or nectar from WA/LN but I assume they would just disappear.

Unfortunately, I have over $100,000 in nectar in the cellar! And I assume my Sims' Martial Arts skills would just go as well?

Yes, skills should be gone too. I don't know if the game "sells" these items or if they just disappear. You might want to sell all your WA/LN objects and nectar so that you don't lose the money, should they just disappear.

I do not believe these items are sold, as the game would have no price reference to go by if the expansion is not installed.  It would attempt to replace items that have versions in other expansions with an equivalent object, however any items that do not have an equivalent would simply be gone (cameras, training dummy, nectar makers, WA plants and produce, etc).  So sell them before you uninstall.

I've solved the problem!

I saved my original household with the WA expansion pack and started a new game. The trick for me is to never send them abroad!

If I need something from another country, (needed a nectar maker, training dummies and new cameras) I create a Sim, merge with the household, send them to go get what I need and kill them off as soon as they have delivered it - the game will not let me kick them out.

So the trick to playing World Adventures for me is to have NO World Adventures!

Why doesn't it let you kick them out?  And what happens if you do send someone abroad?

If I tried to kick someone out, it would "process" it for hours and hours and not do anything.

I'd turn off the computer, reboot and then the others couldn't use their cell phones for any reason let alone travel..

I have to drown overseas travellers in the pool then the household works again. Or did until tonight when an entire game just disappeared.
