Bars? Dive to Exclusive?

 Hi there,
      It's me again asking for help again. I would like to have a Master Mixologist in my Immortal Dynasty and am having a problem distinguishing one bar from another. I know Waylons Haunt is a Dive but how do the clubs, bars and lounges go up in rating? For instance, is Bridgeport Sports Zone the the next step up? And if so what comes after that? Hope I am clear in what I am asking.

You don't have to go in any order to learn drinks, you can go whereever you want. But there  is sort of ranging in types of bars and level of exclusivity. According to Simswikia, they are ranged in this order:
1. Waylon's Hount (Dive Bar)
2. Eugi's (Local Watering Hole)
3. Bridgeport Sports Zone (Sports Bar)
4. The Grind (Dance Club)
5. Aquarius (Poolside Club)
6. The Brightmore (Disco Club)
7. Banzai Lounge (Fusion Lounge)
8. Plasma 501 (Vampire Lounge)
9. The Prosper Room (Exclusive Lounge)

I was trying to figure out the exact same thing a while back for the purposes of building clubs for the other towns.  It helped me to understand how things worked when I stopped thinking of them in terms of different "quality," even though in Bridgeport there clearly are differences in quality.  Celebrity exclusiveness of these particular buildings aside, in actual practice they're just different establishments that attract different types of sims.
