Please feel free to move this if it is off topic, but does anyone else find that if one of your sims has explored tombs, then they are completed for everyone else in the neighbourhood? I have had to start a brand new game in order for them to reset themselves - a bit annoying. I can understand them being explored for that sim's family, but why the entire rest of the neighbourhood (and this was even after the original sim had died!)?

You mean you switched active households and took the new one traveling?  I don't think this has come up before, but it looks like you only have one set of adventures for each game file.  Interesting, but I can see how it would be annoying.

Yes, I created a brand new household and took them travelling, I was quite disappointed to discover most of the tombs were already completed. Also, the (high value) treasure does not respawn so all my new sim got was ancient coins, money bags and cheap relics.

That's interesting. This might explain the problem I had finding the Symbol of the Hall of the Lost Army. I played a different family first, but only dabbled in the first couple of tombs. Then I switched active house holds and am now playing a more serious collector, but can't find the first relic.

I wanted to update this.  I've not been playing the Sims much lately, but I finished the vacation in China, went home, and tried again.  The adventure board is still showing the exact same adventures.  Jade, Nectar, Emperor's Tomb, Writings of Qin Shan Hu.  It doesn't matter if I complete them, it doesn't matter if I get the other Sims in my party to accept the adventures and not complete them.

At this point, I think I'm going to have to accept that I'm never going to get Pangu's Axe with this household.  I'm curious to know if I'm the only person having this problem though?

If a family or Saved Game has done the Adventures before, then they won't show up, but my guess is you will have to do those to open up higher level adventures.

I've only got the one saved game, and I've never done Pangu's Axe.  I have completed all the adventures that are appearing on the board except for the Emperor's Tomb (I need to get hold of some more smelted copper to finish the next step in the chain).

I should try going to some of the other destinations and seeing if those Adventure Boards are also stuck.
