Audren - Thank you for that but I don't think my story comes anywhere near as good as the Dreamweaver Dynasty or the Man Dynasty as far as epicness goes.  In fact there are several other stories that are currently ongoing I would put before my own.  Thank you anyway.  I really really appreciate the comment.

Well, if you insist that your story isn't as good as the others, I will concede. But I still think yours is the best!  :D

Aww, rest well Simis, at least we know that the Grims will treat the mortals of Artie's Dynasty like VIPs (VISs?).  You see, Artie knows a guy ;)

Congratulations on hitting 3K views *confetti*

Artie seems to know 2 guys (remember Bob?)! They do say that it's who you know, not what you know that really matters.

Rica: "What in the world?  Bella! Michael! Alex! Angelica!  Which one of you threw the wet clothes on the floor!"
Agnes: "I got it."
Rica: "There is a reason one has children.  This my father has told me many times. Make them do it."

Rica: In the dark hours after his passing, Jocasta goes to her husband's grave and mourns his loss.  Simis was 93 days old and Jocasta herself is 89.  She knows the spot beside him is for her.

Michael: "Are you sure this is the pose you want to try for?"
Angelica: "Why not this pose?"
Michael: "It reminds me of innocence and I'm not sure that's a virtue I could sculpt you in."
Rica: "So what you're trying to say is that Angelica isn't as sweet as she looks?"
Angelica: -gasp, fake southern accent- "Why I never."
Michael & Rica: -giggle-
Angelica: "Just sculpt me already!"
Michael: "Give me a minute.  This is my first one and I don't want to cut off your head."

Agnes: "I can't believe you're gone."
Rica:  "If I could give you a hug, Agnes, I would."
Agnes: "Thanks Rica.  I know.  Where should we hang this up?"
Rica: "Let's put it on the wall behind the TV for now.  I think I need to plan something special for his sculpture and picture."
Agnes: "That would be nice.  Maybe something that can be for all of us that must go before the end?"
Rica: "Yeah and as soon as I get past my builder's block. "

Jocasta: "And away we go…"
Rica: Jocasta has been spending a lot of time in the time machine but no cool outfits or books have come from her adventures.  The family has two sets of new best friends though.

Alex: "Ugh.. Gelly.. stop moving Everett so i'm looking at his butt ok?"
Angelica: -snickersnort- "I didn't do it."
Alex: "I'm your twin.  I can feel when you're lying."
Angelica: "I'm not lying."
Alex: "I am so getting you back for this."

Napo: *poof* "Here I am.. oh bother."
Angelica: -squeal- "You dirty little gnome.  I ought to kick you!"
Alex: -laughing in background-

Rica: "Hey you're finally not grounded anymore huh?"
Angelica: "Yeah finally.  I have a lot of catching up to do." -snickersnort-
Rica: "Wow.. just wow.. you went there."

Rica: "Umm Angelica.. "
Angelica: "Yes?"
Rica: "Don't look now but a cop is coming down the beach for you because it's midnight."
Angelica: "Oh.. shnikes." (shh-ny-keys)
Rica: "First day off being grounded and you forget to bring a watch. Tsk Tsk"

Artie: "Angie, I know it's not easy being a teenager but that doesn't mean you should stomp all over every rule your mother and I have for you.  I can't believe you stayed out after curfew again!  Don't you have any respect for your mother?"
Angelica: "Do you?"

Angelica: "I was fishing down on the beach.  The cop even saw me pull in a swordfish as he came and got me.  I forgot my watch again and I was just so happy to be out there I didn't notice how dark it had gotten."
Artie: "You expect me to believe you're out past curfew because you were fishing?"
Angelica: "I was! Look at all this fish I caught." -opens super bag of holding and lets her dad get a good whiff-

Artie: "You should still learn to obey the law and the rules of this house, young lady.  You need to learn to be responsible.  That's part of the rules to growing old."
Angelica: "Dad, you're a funny one to tell me about obeying the law.  You're a criminal.   You make a living out of breaking the law you just told me to obey."
Artie: "Just go inside and go to bed.   We're going to talk again in the morning when your Mom is awake and I've lost the urge to pluck you between the eyes."
Dorothy DeMayo, Grim Family Paparazzi: -thinks- "hmmm.. maybe I should have brought my tape recorder."

Awesome update - I love the dialogue - witty, clever, funny and poignant all at the same time - amazing story!!!

RIP Simis - at least Artie thought to put Simis and Jocasta side by side.  I so can't wait for Angelica to hit YA - that one is gonna be heck on wheels!

Phyre -- I'm very curious as to what you were thinking happened! I would love to hear it.

I was thinking something less game-oriented; merely story-oriented. Changing his LTW didn't even occur to me, but now I understand you had to since his LTW was bugged. I was running through scenarios such as Geoffrey changing Artie's DNA to get rid of all the "Grim-genes" so he would be less tempted to be evil (and he already passed them on the my favourite A-Team of course!).

Regardless, I loved the past two updates

I'm very sad Simis died, it feels a little bit like he was just Artie's work-horse and barely enjoyed his life. I hope that's not the case! I thought he'd have something evil of his own planned to drop on Artie but he either never got around to it or decided he wouldn't stoop to Artie's level! Poor Jostica is next and she knows it :(

I had to laugh at the Twin-Teasing going on with the gnomes there! It's good to see Alex is learning how to stand up to Angie!

Yeah unfortunately - once given a goal, Simis became very goal-oriented.  All his wishes either involved his wife, kids or fishing.   In fact Simis and Artie were very rarely in the house at the same time.   I think he enjoyed his life or else he wouldn't have greeted Grim Reaper Rube the way he did.

A lot of times I don't get good shots of everyone because it's like you see the same thing all the time.  I really should give Artie some bars to go to.

I'm finding the same thing with my later generations - there's only so many times you use the same shot even if it features different sims.  I tend to only take screenshots now of stuff I want to showcase (makeovers and redecorations), stuff that will advance the story in some way, or things that are unusual to the sim or the dynasty.

Artie will have a blast if you put some bars in.  Come to think of it, you'd better lock up Angel - curfew or not I think she will sneak into The Grind.  :D

"Hello leg warehouse, I was looking for something for Artie while talking about obeying the law. No? Nothing for him to stand on? OK, thanks" LOL

Nightlife bars are fun settings, I certainly like them ;)

I've never gotten pulled in for breaking curfew, do you do it on purpose for cool pictures and story purposes, or just space that she's out there?
