My favorite aspect was the wedding ceremony and reception area you built. Alicia's attire was stunning.

I also laughed at the magical gnomes.

All the gnomes of the Grim Household (that are visible) gather around the grave of our newest loss, Tad.   Some of the new old guys are from Artie's inventory where I realized they were aging anyway. 


*trumpets*
Cassandra: "Level 10 achieved.  Now it's time to make 13 more of these ice sculptures."
Rica: "It's a lot of work but I'm sure you're up to it.  Maybe you should take a break and go to a movie or something.  It's been a rough weekend for you."
Cassandra: "You know.  I've been thinking about going out and meeting some friends."
Rica: "You should do that."


Rica: "That's a great look for you there, Angel."
Angelica: "You know.. I can't wait for Alicia and Wilbur to decide to have kids."
Rica: "Why's that?"
Angelica: "Because they're cute and won't be mine."


Renee Ellis, Ancient Paparazzi: "I've spent my entire life on this property.  It figures the last moment of it would be here, too."
Rica: "There was that one moment where chased Cassandra while she was learning to drive and she was going so slow you could walk after her with your cane."
Renee Ellis: "Good times.. well goodbye."


Rica: "Is that a fire trail?"
Reaper: "These guys have a slide!"

Reaper: "Wheee…." -poof-
Rica: "That definitely tops one of my weird charts."


Rica: "Wait.. What in the world is that?"

Alicia: -coughing- "That was obviously not the combination I was looking for."
Rica: "You know you had me worried there.  Here have a shower in your room."
Alicia: "I know what I can do with this.."
Rica: "You can fix your hair."
Alicia: -giggles-
Rica: "Sheesh.. newlyweds."


I forgot what it meant to have an insane painter.  It had been so long since he did his magic. 
Alex: "I think I copied Bella's painting very well."
Rica: "Is that what it's supposed to be?"
Alex: "I added my own touch but yeah."
Rica: "I'll say."


Cassie finally went out to catch a movie like I suggested but she didn't go alone…

Yeah that's what a Grim Reaper looks like under the robes.  Artie was supposed to look like that instead of red but I was told that was using an NPC as a founder and not following the rules.  Now we have Mr Red Awesomeness so it's all good.

I may do a story with a real Reaper another time.

Rica, I am guilty of not following the story since my latest comment (before this one), but I just read all the updates since, they all have been so great! You're such a witty writer. I'm so sorry about the loss(es) of many household members, including gnomes and ancient paparazzies. Nonetheless, keep up the great work!

I've been feeling the building mode since I had to do Alicia's room and then the wedding section.  So I decided to bring over the family graveyard to the backyard and give Angelica a pond at the same time.  The ghosts can float across the water with no problem.

Rica: "Eh.. Wha?"
Cassandra: "Aww Nooboo."
Rica: "Huh.  When did you start sleeping in Alex's room?"
Cassandra: "Completely ignore that I just figured out I was pregnant."
Rica: "One thing at a time please."

Alicia: "Only since we were toddlers."
Rica: "I shouldn't be surprised yet I am anyway."


James the Gnome: "Wake me up when they stop their cane dancing practice."
Napo the French Gnome:  "I cannot watch."
Laundry Gnome: "Whoo! They all did it!"


Rica: -squeels- "I finally got a Blingaboo!"

Jenni the Teen Gnome: "Quite the conversationalist."


Little Bling: "Dude.. you need to wake up and smell the crazy.  Come join us on the grass with the sun being lazy."


Alicia: "A little more of this.."
Rica: "Where's your protective gear?"
Alicia: "I can't fit into any of it with this belly..  A pinch of that."
Rica: "Then stop playing with the chemistry set!"
Alicia: "I only need to discover 2 more."
Rica: "You can do that after the baby is born."
Alicia: "It's not like I have anything else to be done."
Rica: "ALEX!"


Alex: "That's right.  Stick it out a little bit more so I can make sure to get it just right."
Cassandra: "This isn't for the museum.  Think you could do one of me too."
Alex: "Of course we're going to do one of you.  Just like we did of your mothers."


Alex: "Boy you've gotten big in the last couple of hours."
Cassandra: "Hey!"
Alex: "Sorry.  It's just.  I'm afraid you'll break your water right here and then I might shatter the sculpture and then where we will be with this endeavor."
Cassandra: "I'm not due for at least 6 more hours.  Just get started and then I'll go back downstairs."
Alex: "Ok.  But I'm not cleaning up the mess.  "

Ok, I loved the shots of Cassandra and Alica getting sculpted while pregnant.

Alex: "That's right.  Stick it out a little bit more so I can make sure to get it just right."

And that just made me laugh.

I'm glad to see you're playing again, I know how it feels having to replay a big chunk, it's a real discouragement.  So I'm glad there's more!

Welcome Simon Bachelor-Goth!  Named after his Great Grandpa Simis and Great Great Grandpa Simon but we decided to drop the is from Simonis because that just sounded funny.


Welcome Astrea Grim!   She's not red but considering she has lots of normal skinned ancestors - I'm not super surprised.  Immortal # 4 (to be) is finally here!

Oh, wow, congrats on the two new nooboos!

I'll admit to being a bit disappointed that the red skin only lasted to Gen 4, I was sort of hoping it would last all 8 generations, as that would have been really cool.

I was a little upset too but yeah, genetics doesn't really work well in Sims 3 as it will pull from members throughout the family tree not just the parents.  Artie's wife was Agnes who was normal skinned and had normal skinned parents in her family tree.   Angelica's husband Malcolm Landgraab had normal skinned parents and grandparents on his mother's side.  Alicia's husband Wilbur's mother was River McIrish and his father was Xander Clavell who both had normal skinned parents and grandparents.  So there are a lot normal skinned people and three red ones.  If I didn't think Artie deserved a chance at HoF, I would have possibly thought of doing some Edit in CAS magic.
