I'm not sure lilygirl.  Maybe we'll find out soon.  The twins don't tell me a lot of things.  Like I have no idea what they did to those bus drivers.. yet.
Oh and I forgot to mention that maybe when looking for the spirit device - don't forget to check with hubby (when he's better) to make sure he didn't put it up for sale in Jita!

Rica: "First day of high school - are you excited Alex?"
Alex: "Huh.. what? Yeah of course I am.  Maybe some of the boys have gained maturity in the last 24 hours."
Rica: "We both know that's not likely.  But I love that you have hopes.  Why the face when you walked out the door?"
Alex:  "Dad was working out again in the living room.  Man he stinks."


Number 1: "Athletic clothes for your first day of high school.  Just like elementary"
Angelica: "Wait.. how did you know that?"
Number 1: "Your childhood was a very long Sim week."
Alex: "You're the one who wanted to do what you did.  Her observations are entirely your fault."
Angelica: "Interesting.. I must find out more."


Rica: In the backyard, Artie and Agnes found a late night present from the twins.  They had apparently stayed up and painted the Gnubb set.   The king is lilac for Alex.


Little fellow: "You're doing it all wrong, my friend."
Artie: "Just be quiet."
Rica: "Who's the cutie but shortie?"
Artie: "Got him in a raid a few nights ago."
Rica: "Hey there little man. you got a name?"
Little fellow: "This red big foot wants to call me Elf but my people call me Jeanie."
Rica: -blinks- "That's an odd name."
Jeanie the Gnome: "Me pa and ma wanted a girl.  But they got me and now Bigfoot has me." -cackles-
Artie: "I'm going to kick you."
Rica: "Don't you dare!"


Rica: Every afternoon, Alex joins the ladies on the back deck for a little painting.  Then it's time for homework, dinner and whatever else needs to be done.


Number 1: "How embarrassing."
Alex: "Sorry Number 1.  We didn't realize that you didn't know that today was formal day not pajama day."
Angelica: "Interesting.. " -scribbles in notebook-


Rica: "You two are so cute together.  An old vampire couple snuggling in the Consignment Shop."
Artie: "Oh is that where Gunther is.  The boss says I have to make him my enemy if I want that next promotion."
Rica: "What.. No.  You can't do that."
Artie: "I do what the boss says until I'm the boss."


Rica: "Morty.  I'm not sure I like where your thoughts are right now. "
The whole house thinks of Bella as a child in wishes/thought bubbles/everything.  I'm beginning to think it's a glitch.


Gunther: "Talk to the hand, Artie Grim."
Artie: "I'll do more than that, Nemesis Goth.  I'll kick your-"
Rica: "Artie!!"


Bella: "Mortimer, you make me so happy.   I wish there was room in this house for you."
Mortimer: "So do I but I know that room comes at a price so I don't let it bother me and I just enjoy our nights together."
Bella: "Does that mean you're going to stay over again?"
Mortimer: "If you'll have me."


Angelica: "Whoa this one is huge!"
Rica: "I bet you say that to all the fish."
Angelica: "Hey Rica.. check this out."
Rica: "It's very nice.  So you like fishing now huh?"
Angelica: "Fishing is a way for me to clear my mind and work out my plans mentally without the chaos that is our house weighing down on me."
Rica: "Just don't forget you have homework to do."
Angelica: "One more fish and I'll call Alex to see if we can get it done."
Rica: "That's my girl - where is Alex?"
Angelica: "He's at the salon watching Sandi French and Georginia Ursine wait for us to show up."



Rica: "Artie.. why aren't you at work yet?  Oh.. Oh man.."
Artie: "I think that's Rueben."
Rica: "If I could swat you right now I would.   You ruined Cornie's last moments of her life by arguing with her husband."
Artie: "No wait.. that's not Rube.. That's Bob."
Rica: "Artie!"
Artie: "Huh.. whu.. What do you want woman?"
Rica: "GO TO WORK. "
Artie: "Oh yeah.. new job.. right.. on it. Bye Gunther"


Rica:  The next day Bella does everything she can to cheer up Grumpy Morty after losing his mother. 

RIP Cornelia Goth - being a vampire certainly didn't keep you here much longer.  Don't worry - I'll have one of the kids get your grave and place it where we can visit.

Ricanote:  I forgot to mention.  The new traits for the twins are Angler for Angelica and Lucky for Alex.

Yeah, that's a common glitch with Bella and Mortimer showing up as children in wishes and thoughts.

You think seeing Bella as a child is weird? In my Dynasty, Mortimer died at age 91 and everyone was mourning a child. A "child" that had over 30 children of his own haha. Sims are so entertaining sometimes!   Awesome update, so when do we get to know what the twins did to the poor bus driver?? R.I.P. Cornelia.

Rica: Since Cornelia had been his wife's sister, Artie decided to throw a formal party in her honor.  Agnes and Jocasta made food for the occasion.  Artie, of course, decided to wear his workout pants.


Rica: He even invited Gunther.   "Artie! Go greet Gunther.  He can't seem to open the door he's in so much grief."
Artie: "Why do I have to do it?"
Rica: "Because I said so."


Angelica: "Hi.. You're Malcolm Landgraab right?"
Malcolm: "Yes yes I am and you are?"
Angelica: "I'm Angelica Grim, Artie's daughter.  Your house is the one to the left isn't it.   I've always admired your house."
Malcolm: "Thank you.. it's been in my mom's family for generations."
Angelica: "Oh so Landgraab men like strong women.. "
Malcolm: "Ummm.."


Sam: "While I like art, I love french toast.  Just love it.  If I could eat french toast for every meal, I think I would."
Angelica: "My mom makes great french toast.  I'm more of a grilled salmon kind of girl."
Sam: "Salmon is ok but nothing like french toast, man."
Angelica: "Did you know that Leighton Sekemeto is really an alien in disguise?"
Sam: "That's my dad.  He's not an alien.  He's a vampire."


Alex: "Let's boogie."
Agnes: "What is your sister up to?"
Alex: "Meeting guests."
Agnes: "Uh huh."
Jocasta: "Oh I'm getting too old for this.  Bella why don't you dance with poor little Malcolm while I go sit in the house for a while."
Bella: "Ok Mom.. I'll go check on Morty."


Angelica: "Hi I'm Angelica Grim.  Daughter of Artie.  Do you wear a dress because you have skinny legs?"
Miguel Keaton: -thinks- "I think it's time I went back home."


Rica: "Ok.. what's wrong now Angel?"
Angelica: "This whole evening was a waste of time."
Rica: "Yes it was.. you still have homework to do and it's almost midnight."


Rica: "Now that's a face.  Didn't Agnes ever tell you not to make faces it could freeze that way?"
Angelica: "I didn't get any fishing done today."
Rica: "I saw you fishing for something else though.  Meet some new people tonight?"
Angelica: "Yeah just some of the young men Dad said I had to meet."
Rica: "Well you are the family heir.  We expect you to have kids one day."
Angelica: "Herbert says my children will be evil."
Rica: "Your father is evil.. I don't see the problem."
Angelica: -cheers up- "Never thought of it that way.  Good point. "


Rica: Angelica comes out of her musings to find that Alex didn't wait to do his homework with her. He's doing it with Agnes instead.  Being Angelica, she grabbed Jocasta and made her help.


Rica: For Some reason at the end of every party, Bella follows Mortimer back to his house.  She continues to be the best girlfriend possible and cheers him up. 


Rica: "Nice outfit."
Artie: "New work uniform.. Must.. get… promoted… quicker."
Rica: "But you look like an Evil Sidekick.  Don't you want to be a sidekick forever!"
Artie: "I hate you.  I really hate you."
Rica: -giggle-

Fabulous update, Rica! I love your sense of homour and story telling ability. The twins are a riot, but I think I've said that already. I'm waiting for swimsuit day at school. The Gnubb set is awesome!

I don't think ... no, wait, he did play Eve, this past weekend, I'll be sure to check with him when he gets home from work. He doesn't go the Jita often, apparently that's what alts are for! I'm curious now what purpose a Spirit Positioning Device would serve in outer space? Hmmm. I'll ask him!

Rica: "Wow only one more to go to reach your goal.  How does it feel Aggie?"
Agnes: "I can't believe it's really going to happen.  I can't wait to make that recipe though."
Rica: "Baked Alaska?"
Agnes: "No, it was Baked Angel Food Cake."
Rica: "Same thing I think.  Either way.. .Yum."


Rica: -makes trumpet noises- "Yay you got your Lifetime Wish.  I'm so happy for you!"
Agnes: "That was the very last recipe I could learn from this country.  Artie - are you sure we can't travel?"
Artie: "That's what I was told when I inherited this land."
Rica: "It's true.. but if you chat up that Emma Hatch vampire lady, I bet she knows some of the foreign ones."


Rica: "Nice painting there, Alex."
Alex: "C'mere you little… oh thanks Rica.. it's a volcano."
Rica: "I see.  Ok take it off the easel then you can go back to.. what you were doing."


Rica:  "That's a perfect Rainbow Trout! Great job Angel."
Angelica: "It's just not much bigger than the last one.  What makes it perfect."
Rica: "Your face.. I mean- because I said so."
Angelica: "That's it.  I want to have my very own private aquarium with perfect fish in it."
Rica: "How many fish do you want in this private aquarium?"
Angelica: "13 would be a good start but I'd like to try for all 21 that are native to Sunset Valley.   I hear new species have been found near Bridgeport but I'm not sure Bridgeport mutants should count."
Rica: "That sounds like an admirable goal.  But it's time to go home and do homework and eat dinner."

Just as Artie came home from work one night, Agnes was already awake and waiting for him.  Something in her dreams had made her very angry.  Or maybe it was the fact that she woke up and her husband wasn't home yet. 

Agnes:  "I'm tired of you never being home.  You're not even friends with your own son.   You're out all hours of the night and the only person you ever think about is yourself or the next party we're going to have."


Artie: "Now I've been honest from the beginning about what I needed to do for this dynasty to get started.  I may not be friends with my children but I also know that if I don't achieve certain goals then we're all doomed."
Agnes: "That's right - you're starting a dynasty to save your own skin.  Nevermind the innocent family you brought into this house to use and abuse for their interests.   Nevermind the wife you obviously only wanted for her money."


Agnes: "No you just shut your mouth.  I don't want to hear any of your insane rantings right now.  I want you to hear what I have to say.  Something has to change here Artie.  You say if you don't do things, we're all doomed.  I want to know exactly what you're doing since it seems like we're doing all the work.  Simis is out all hours of the day to fish for you.  Jocasta spends most of her day in the garden for you.  I've mastered cooking and painting and learned ambrosia for you.  Your two children spend every day working on their hobbies thinking that they have to - for you!"


Artie: "Why are you so upset?  Huh?  Are you crying? Look Agnes, please don't cry."


Agnes: "No I'm not crying.  I will never waste my tears on you ever again.  Do you have any idea what's it like to go to bed alone and wake up alone in this house?  Tell me Artie.  Where are you most of the time?  What are you doing for this dynasty?  Anything?!  It seems to me you're making the rest of us do all the work.   You didn't even congratulate me on getting my lifetime wish.  A wish that changed when I joined this family.  And what's your lifetime wish huh Artie?  Well?"


Artie: "Don't you think I'd rather be home in bed with you each night instead of out there with Ian, Anne and Ayesha?  If this dynasty fails, because of something I didn't do - I know what's going to happen to me.  I have no idea what will happen to you guys.  So I spend all my time doing what I have to do that only I can do.  I spend hours at the gym in order to complete athletic challenges.  I go to work to grovel and schmooze my way to the top of my career."


Artie: "I'm begging you.  Don't be mad.  Yes I'm trying to save my hide but now I'm also trying to save everyone else's too.  I'll be home more often.  I promise."
Agnes: "You're sleeping on the couch."
Artie: "I can deal with that… for tonight."
