Wooot!  Yay for Angelica for completing her LTW!

So sorry that Artie messed up with the gnome king and all.  I guess some things just never change!  I'm sure he'll find another caveman suit soon, though. 

Wow, Malcolm looks great now that he's toned up a bit!  I wonder if Angelica will wear her gym clothes to her own wedding?!

Agnes: "Whee I almost kissed my knee that time!"
Artie: "Whee! Ow.. that was my eye."


Rica: "How was your first day at work, Angelica?"
Angelica: "It was alright.  Thornton stayed in his office all day.  I did meet Nancy in the halls.  I forgot she worked there.  She just kept telling everyone how I stole her son from her."
Rica: "What did you say to that?"
Angelica: "I put garlic in her coffee.  I need more time to plan."


Artie: "Look at what I can do!"
Agnes: "What in the world was that?"
Rica: "I think he just spun around on his elbow in the air?"
Paparazzi: "That was so awesome."
Rica: "We need a fence."


Rica: I read somewhere on the forum that the Sunburst family had had art show up randomly so I went to the Art Museum while things were boring and found a portrait that Agnes had done weeks ago.  We sold it off the easel because it wasn't a masterpiece.  And as she was such a cute toddler I figured no one would be upset of me showing just how cute she used to be.


Afterwards on the beach where she maxed her fishing, Angelica prepares for a special moment.
Angelica: "Your mother made me realize that I had never officially asked for your hand.  So will you, Malcolm Landgraab, make me the happiest woman in Sunset Valley?"
Malcolm: "From this moment until my last, I hope to make you as happy as you make me."


Angelica: "Thank you."
Malcolm: "I love you, too."


Alex has been promoted high enough that he can go from house to house to do at home makeovers.   His first victim, I mean client, was River McIrish.
Alex: "Yes I believe it's true the mirror scares you, but it won't once I'm done with you."


Rica: "Alex.. I think you just proved you're definitely Angelica's brother. "
Alex: "Or do you mean that Angelica is my sister."
Rica: "Touché."


Rica: "I think he likes it."
Alex: "Either that or he's trying to tell me I'm hot which I knew already."


Rica: "Hey Aggie - Bust a move.."
Artie: "That's right.  My wife is a smokin' hot babe."
Agnes: "Shut up and dance."
Artie: "Yes ma'am."

I have a lot of ground to cover before Generations comes out to get you guys closer to where I am so I figured no one would be upset if I did a couple of extra posts this long weekend.

YAY for more Sunburst initiatives! Thanks for the mention. At least your Art Museum painting looks good. *Smiles fondly at the cuteness and innocence that was toddler Angelica* I had Therie sell her paintings because every single one came out fuzzy - I had her paint like 15 of them before I gave up on getting a clear one! So the three paintings she has in the Art Museum are all the same - Franklin and Lenny - and all fuzzy. *Sigh* It's a neat feature of the game though to have paintings randomly show up in the Art Museum. No luck on sculptures though.

Congrats to Angelica and Malcolm on their official engagement! I can't wait to see the nooboo they're going to make.

Those paparazzi can really get to be annoying, I started out OK with them, but eventually I'd just had enough.

I have to agree, more updates is always better! I almost missed the previous one because it was a page back - I can't even go out for a night! - but luckily I caught my error in time and am fully up-to-date again!

Congratulations to Ange on fulfilling her LTW. Or actually, maybe it should only be a semi-congratulations as she'd already completed it, technically. She was just too stubborn to put them in a bowl until she had a full collection. I do wonder where she left them in the intermediate time... Oh well, in any case: welcome to all the fish and Mr. Crabs!

More congratulations to Ange on her engagement. I think Malcolm may need to get his hearing checked though...

And though fear of retribution is making me cautious, I'm going to say this anyway: Ange looks strangely plain and normal in her work outfit. Jeans and a T-Shirt just don't become her.

Only one update today and I'm afraid it's going to be a non funny one.

Also - I fear for the color of the child because genetics is pulled from everywhere.  Malcolm is a third generation Sim where all the people in his family are fair skinned whereas Angelica has one parent who is red but her fair skinned mother had two fair skinned parents.   That's a lot going against a red nooboo or even pink nooboo with the way the game's genetics works.   Not trying to crush anyone's dreams, I'm just saying is all.

Another day in the life of the Grims, Angelica has been promoted enough that she's wearing a new ugly uniform.  Agnes has been tending the garden and all is dead except two bushes and the four money trees.   Artie had Agnes put the death flowers down in their bedroom.   The only nice thing I can say about seeing them there is that they match the decor.

Then it happened…

While on her trampoline just after Artie left for work..
Rica: "AGGIE NO!"
Agnes: "That's a lot of sparkles."


Agnes: "Oh hey.. look at that.  I'm whiter than usual."
Rica: "Alex!  Angelica! Come quick to the back yard!"
Agnes: "I turned 97 today."
Rica: "I know but I wasn't ready.." -sniffles-
Agnes: "We never really are."


Grim Reaper:  "I've come to take you with me, Agnes Grim."
Angelica: "Mommy!"
Alex: "Please don't go, Mama."


Agnes: "Please can I–"
Grim Reaper: -uses his scythe to pimp-smack Agnes into her grave- "You come now."
Angelica: "How dare you touch my mother that way!"
Alex: -crying-
Rica: "You… You… I can't call you what I want to call you but you're a meanie! How dare you slap her that way?!"


Grim Reaper: -leaves as soon as Agnes is in the grave-
Rica: "Aww kids.. don't cry.  You two are not pretty criers."
Alex: "He didn't even let her finish talking!" -sobs-


Malcolm and Bella are just inside the house but they feel the loss just as heavily as the twins.


Angelica: "I miss my mommy."
Alex: "I miss my mommy, too."
Rica: "Guys.. you're going to make me cry if you keep this up.  Go inside while I take care of the grave."


Around 2 am, the Emperor of Evil steps out of his lair..
Artie: "My Aggie is gone.. Why!.. Why Rica?"
Rica: "Because that is the way things are.  You knew that when we started. Let's get you home."
Artie: "I want to see her grave."
Rica: "Ok.. I put it across the street for you already."


Artie: "I didn't want to fall in love.  I didn't want to love you!" -falls to his knees and touches the gravemarker-  "But I do love you.  I'll always love you.  I miss you already, my sweet."
Rica: "Darnit Artie.  You made me cry."


Ricanote: There is nothing I can do to make this post any easier for any of us.  I remember thinking that there might be a way to twist the pimp slap into a funny moment during her death but I don't think it really worked.  

Sorry for any tears caused but until EA let's us customize our work uniforms, she's just going to have to look odd.
