How many sims in Sunset Valley previously appeared in TS2?

I think the answer is one Mortimer Goth.

The only others I can think of that might count are Agnes but I am pretty sure she is dead in the Sims 2 and Bella but she has disappeared and I don't know if she counts.

Well there is definatly Four. I think the Mrs. Crumplebottom is the same as Agnes.
Mortimer = Pleasant View.
Bella = Strangetown.
Agnes = Night Life Grouchy Woman who ruined dates.
Malcolm = Open FOr Business, Bluewater?
Kaylynn = Maid in Pleasantview.

Agnes Crumplebottom is not the same sim as Mrs. Crumplebottom, I do not believe.  Likewise, I don't think any of the Landgraab family has ever actually made an appearance in any of the Sims versions other than 3, although they are regularly credited with founding many things throughout the series.

Malcolm Landgraab IV appeared in Sims 2 Open for Business in Bluewater Village, but he is not the same as Malcolm Landgraab in Sims 3. I think this question is very tricky, as there is no true info about Agnes being Mrs. Crumplebottom. In my opinion we also need a clarification on whether to count deceased Sims or not. Only then you will get an answer from me.
