its a trick question. Its according to how many EP's you have or its if you only have base game. The number varies.

It would also be impossible. Besides all SV Townies, NPCs and other Pre-Mades are all wearing Base Game until they age up and then they have the chance to gain non-vanilla content.

I think I have it!  Is it nobody?!  Because technically, sim arn't people, you're the person, and it's likely you're not wearing base game clothing when you open up sims!

Ok everyone else is making me get confused about my own question! 
No to Coocoo girl (although it is a good theory!) and yes to Wiry (but I'm not a Llama! I'm a She!), it is a number.

Wow, errr, can I ask you something?  Have you been playing sims 3 for over 20 years about 6 hours everyday?  Because that seems like how much playing it would take to answer that question!  Wow that question is hard!

According to my counting there are 67 sims living in Sunset Valley. If you want to count NPC's then there are 28 of them and there are 11 homeless Sims (These are all Sunset Valley). Ghosts of Sims would technically count since they are in Sunset Valley and are wearing base game clothes and there are 29 deceased sims so if you count all of these then there are 135 sims in Sunset Valley wearing base game clothing. If you're not counting NPC's and homeless sims just take them away. 

EDIT: These are all the sims that are automatically there when you load a new game.
EDIT: Bin sims all wear base game clothing (bin sims meaning the extra sims that EA created) and are there at the start of the game and there are 19 of them. If counting them the new total is 154.

I think Toni got it. I counted 67 Townies and at the very beginning of the game everyone is wearing base game clothing. All I wanted was the number

Ummmm, Pink?  I don't know.  But here's my serious, actually trying answer:  Blue and Cristopher Steele.  He just seems like a popular townie so I'm just guessing.

I really have no idea what the most popular favourite colour is, but I know Christopher Steele's favourite is lime green so I'll go with that.  But Toni, just to clarify - you are looking for all the Sims with that particular favourite colour, right?  Not just one?

I think I've got it.
I'm saying Yellow and the seven Sims who have that as their favourite colour are Beau Andrews, Bessie Clavell, Marty Keaton, Justine Keaton, Yumi Sekemoto, Molly French and Malcom Landgraab.

I made an entire spreadsheet of favourite colours of every Townie just to answer this
