I'm wondering what the rate is for how much the LTR Opportunistic increases the rewards of opportunities. I'm under the impression that it is 2 times the amount, but I think I've seen different rates.

Opportunistic doubles the rewards. It's especially great for explorers, because the amount of visa points gained from adventures is doubled.

Thank you Chronic.
It is a great LTR, in my opinion.
$15,000 for one opportunity. Wow.

You're welcome. :)
How about 100K? There are some useful tips in Metro's My Garden of Eatin' Smells Fishy challenge thread. ;)

I've received 120 thousand for an opportunity at one point. One that asked me to deliver 10 paintings to some person in town. I was shocked!

When I use opportunistic, I've noticed about twice as many opportunities showing up.

Yes, Opportunistic is a great reward for painters.  If you have a high-level painter and deliver large paintings, you can get a lot of money from those painting opportunities.

Opportunistic doubles the rewards.

As far as simoleans paid that's incorrect. It must be variable, but I've had simoleans given for deathfish and painting opportunities that was closer to 10X the stock value of the item.

I stand corrected. :) Well, at least I thought it only doubled. Never knew it could be 10X! :D Thanks, Metro.

Well, I thought about this for a little bit after I posted and since I always grab the Opportunistic Lifetime Happiness Reward I leaped to the conclusion of that 10X statement. The thing is — I don't know what the payout for certain opportunities like The Business of Decor would be without that reward. If it's 5X base value of paintings, then you'd be absolutely right with Opportunistic jumping to 10X.

Okay, I have come to this conclusion. The multiplier for different opportunities, or rewards, varies. i.e. 5x for one opportunity, and 10x for the other. Or less, or more.

I think it is 2x for constant rewards. I.e if you recieve $7,500 no matter what then with the Opportunistic LTR that will shoot up to $15,000.
