Rubbish on the floor.

There is a bit of rubbish on the floor in my Sims home. I cannot pick it up. They cannot do so either.
It is festering and creating a negative moodlet. I have tried the 'move object on cheat' but I cannot make it work. Does anyone have a solution please?

You could try removing it manually without moveobjects. Be sure that you have 'testingcheatsenabled' on. Here's what you do:

1. Shift-click on the rubbish.
2. Select 'Object'.
3. Select 'Delete'.
4. It should disappear immediately.

Though, be sure to click right on the rubbish. If you have other objects under/near it (rugs, decorations etc.), move them away so you won't accidentally delete those instead of the rubbish. Good luck.
