Two cheats that aren't in the guide
« on: April 07, 2011, 03:44:37 AM »
These cheats aren't useful, per se, but they are fun to watch.

I know for a fact that cheat number 1 does not need testingcheats, but cheat number 2 might.

1. Jokeplease (usage: jokeplease). It literally spawns a joke and displays it in the console. The jokes are corny.
2. Ageuptonpc (usage: ageuptonpc on/true/can't remember). It enables a popup when a toddler ages up to a child, where you get to select if the child will be playable or not.

Thank you for reading!

Yes, these cheats were there since the base game. Though, really, nothing useful. I doubt anyone would want their child to become an NPC. Except for testing purposes. ;)

Has anyone ever used "buydebug?" That's another testingcheatsenabled under build/buy mode that isn't mentioned. You can purchise life fruit, flame fruit, and even spawn rare seeds and fish too (tragic clown fish, vampire fish, death fish, robo-fish, jellyfish), as well as the death flower, and even spawn rare insects and gems. Also, you can buy Mysterious Mr.Gnome, with the "buydebug" cheat.

Ah. I apologize. I posted a guide for Pam and others who play Sim families, have any of my other tips been mentioned in the thread I posted?

Is it? Then why is it posted in a board entitled 'Carl's Sims 3 Guide Corrections/Suggestions'? I am confused. ???

Maybe another mod moved it. Maybe I'm just spacing out. Lol.

Thanks Seabody I'll look into adding those. Might as well go for complete coverage even if they aren't the most useful. People who like Sims humor will probably dig the jokes anyway ;)

I can confirm that they both definitly work. I'll test Ageup (to see if it needs TestingCheats) in a moment. Save you some time.  ;)
