Is the clumsy trait bad

I just had a kid and it was born with the clumsy trait is that trait bad.  Everything was going fine, then one night for some reason my male sim left the pan on the stove that caught fire after a few seconds.  The wife's mood  plummeted, then the next day or the day after that, they had a fire storm and once again her mood plummeted.  It was so dumb lol.
