Chapter 9 - Kids and Art


I always remember growing up and my bedroom having that pattern with the mouse and the cat chasing each other through holes, apparently it was supposed to be cheese but that was green. Well I found something for sale with the exact same pattern! I love it and so I used it in the Nursery for the Kids.



I was very tired and hungry so after feeding George, while Agnes fed Jocelyn, I went to get some food and then bed.




Whilst cooking I reached Level 8 of the Cooking Skill! That is my current Job requirement, so I should be able to get a Promotion soon!



I had to fire another Maid, she was eating our food out of our fridge! She also didn't clean it up afterwards!



After the maid stormed out I heard a triumphant cheer from the Sculpting area, Agnes had just finished an Ice Sculpture, her 25th one to be exact, she said she had found out how to make sure they never melted!



She celebrated by sculpting Chris. He is the first Ice Sim we have.




The Dad's love their little babies, can you blame them?




This is my portrait that Chris painted of me! I quite like it but it's a bit too dark for it to go down as a Museum Piece, I still have a few days before I reach Adulthood though so there is plenty of time.



I found this great cook book that helped me get to Level 9 of Cooking! It got me a lot further than that actually, not far enough though!



Having got fed up of gong to the Store for a Camera I sent Hank just on the off chance it was me bringing bad luck or the Woman at the counter always hid the Camera from me. Let me tell you, if you send your man to go and buy something he will always come back with something you don't need...




Agnes then sculpted me! I'm ready to age up now, a better portrait would be nice and a Photograph but we can't have everything. I think I have a few more days left though so there is a chance that Hank might get a good picture!



Agnes also sculpted Hank, now he has to be able to Sculpt her, she is still making him get 25 Ice Sculptures and then she will tell him the secret.



For some reason Chris has put in a Portrait Deck and well we ran out of money to finish it.



I went back to work and when I arrived they had a training course which pushed me up into a Level 10 Cook! I mastered Cooking! I just need to Supermax it now. (It was an Opportunity related to work that gave her some Experience) I'm moving up in the world, look at my Carpool!



I cried when I saw this Painting that Chris did with the help of Agnes, I didn't know about it until I saw it! He also did this amazing one of Joss.




These are Agnes and I's portraits, mine on the left and hers on the right.



Then my little George had his First Birthday! At the same time as Joss! Look at them after his makeover and new wardrobe! I think George got Hank's Eyes and Hair. Joss got Agnes' skin colour and Chris' hair, I think she got his eyes as well.

What you do is you tell your computer that there WILL BE a camera there today.  Then you send every adult in the household at least once.  It will be there the next day haha

There are about 10 Skill Books in there at the moment, curse you Nancy Landgraab! (She is now the cause of all Consignment Store problems in my opinion!)
