Chapter 3 - Dreams of the future


Agnes had her Birthday, she didn't tell anyone, I guess she doesn't want to be the oldest in the house, she still looks great for her age which isn't that old we keep telling her, luckily for her she doesn't get to have wrinkles for eternity.




Agnes is such a hard worker you know, she spends all day shoving out Ice Sculptures, apparently she has heard of this trick where they never melt if you sculpt enough of them. I wonder if Daddy knew that?



I have been scurrying around doing these tasks and opportunities that have surfaced.



Hank has taken an Interest in Sculpting as well, he is a bit behind Agnes but is catching up, he says that he made a deal where if Agnes sculpts him in never melting Ice he will sculpt her. I don't think Hank realises Agnes would have done it anyway!



Well stuff keeps breaking, that's for sure. I could have a go at fixing it but I just don't have time, everyone else is busy, we have plenty of cash so a Repairman is the easiest and safest way to do it.



I shared some Ingredients with a Chef in town and that pushed me up to a Level seven in cooking! An hour before Work when I needed it! I have done five of my Opportunities now that my children won't be able to do.



I got promoted! I'm now actually cooking at my Job! I love it though with the stress and the skill not to mention the tasting but even being part of the Line Cooks is great! I'm starting to earn quite a bit now.



I came home and Agnes ran up to me and told me the news! It's fantastic what has happened!



 -Rewind Four Hours-







 -Present-

I'm over the moon for Agnes and Chris! Marriage is so wonderful, well I hope it is!



That got me thinking though, I feel ready and Agnes only needs about fifteen more Ice Sculptures, she is getting through about two a day now, especially now she isn't Grumpy any more! (Midlife Crisis - Good Sense of Humour, Family Orientated, Savvy Sculptor, Hopeless Romantic, Artistic)



I'm ready for marriage and I want a Baby, I just hope that Hank does as well.

The only time Shannon ever saw Chris as a child was when he was kissing Diana, she didn't know who he was and wouldn't recognise this version of him.

... I was shocked. Grandma was kissing a Ghost, why! The ghost is dead!



Unless the Ghost is Grandma's dead Husband, maybe Nanna's Daddy?

Chapter 4 - The Great Ring Exchange


Hank called me and told me he wanted to meet me down by the Beach, oh I love the Beach, it is where Hank and I first kissed, I wonder what he wants to talk about though. Since my car is better than his Taxi I wasn't far behind him, well I couldn't get there first because his Taxi was going so slowly! He didn't see me parking my car and I had to run after him.



We just stood there looking at each other until he kissed me, all worries disappeared then.




We just stayed in a deep embrace for ages, the sun was really hot. I thought back to my earlier hopes of starting a family and for Hank to be ready. When he broke away from me, drawing me back to the real world.




He signalled me to be quiet and stay where I was, now this was confusing.



Then he dropped to one knee and pulled out something I have been dreaming for and he opened it up and revealed the largest piece of rock I have ever seen!





Of course I said Yes! I think even Agnes heard me and she was at home!



We all decided there was no time to waste, we were young but we had our whole lives ahead of us, no matter if some were Shorter than others. No one understood what I meant at that and they asked questions but luckily I managed to brush them off that fate was a secretive thing. Hank then made the call to seal our fates!



I did the catering and Hank made a few drinks on the bar then it was time.



It was time for us to get married and for Chris and Agnes! Since we are all such friends we decided why not have a joint wedding? I mean we couldn't really afford a massive thing even with the four thousand we had, we have investments we want to spend that on eventually. So without further Adieu the weddings commenced!









Agnes took Chris' name and now is Agnes Steel. I'm so happy for them, not as much as for me though! It was a large crowd that gathered, most wandered off the street to witness and spread the joy, the whole town was talking of the joint wedding after but I have not shown you the pictures of my wedding yet!










I can't believe I am married! It is just as Daddy told me! Being there and letting the world know that you love the person in front of you. I wish my family had been here though, Eliza would have been my Maid Of Honour well maybe Bridesmaid...

Hank took my last name and is now Hank Jade, he said he wanted to take my name, I didn't even have to convince him!



So home we went after the after party and we were going to celebrate with our own mini party of dancing and eating hamburgers! Until we opened the front door and were greeted by this...



Some honeymoon, hey?
