pally, from what I've read from the various postings here, it sounds like the body hair will be a slider.  Since we can't change existing sims with the body sliders by simply changing their appearance, I would think body hair would fall into the same category.  On the other hand, body hair is also much more alterable in reality (at least in the reduction direction) than weight, muscle size, etc. are.  It's hard to know how the designers are thinking about it.  I'm crossing my fingers for more versatility with that particular feature rather than less.   ;)

I'm glad about MidLife Crisis - I thought it would be compulsory, and you'd change your traits.

Snootysims posted this yesterday regarding new features for adults: http://ironhammers.org/?p=4995

It still doesn't answer our exact questions regarding body hair, but it does provide a lot more insight into that feature.  It also has other info we may or may not have known already.

I wonder if body hair will randomly appear on male sims as they age up from teenager to YA. I hope it at least randomly assigns itself to appear on some of the townies, or else my sims that I give body hair will end up looking like lonely cavemen!

This link just came onto my Facebook feed from the official Sims3 page. It answers a few of the questions that have been bouncing around lately.

All the new additions sounds awesome!

I love the new romantic reputation and the wedding ones.
I agree, Margerita, that sounds great!

It looks as though 'Body Hair' will be selected in pretty much the same way as tattoos.

Basically it explained the new features, like snapshots, video and new interactions.  That was the first time I had seen sleeping bags.  I like the water slides, because the adults actually can use them too.  I think this will add more depth for families.  I like the teeter totters too and the new playground equipment.  Sitting on the ground stargazing is something that I have missed from the sims2.  It also showed the parties and those interactions as well.

I having been searching interviews and previews for more information. What I have actually been looking for is more information about additions like what new hairstyles, clothing, furniture and so forth that they have added to this EP.

What I have read has been interesting, all the interviewed developers are suggesting that there are components that they have kept a few things secret, so we may see things in the game that have not even been mentioned thus far.

The developers said that this is something new that they have wanted to try before but the previous Sims platforms wouldn't have been able to support it.

Anyhow, I firmly believe that the very first person on this forum that gets their hands on a copy of this EP, need to get their screenshot fingers ready and start telling the rest of us every single tiny little detail lol (just kidding)

:)

The Target here has always had the new games out around 11am.  If I am not working, I will get it first thing.  Unfortunately, that is my last day of work, so I will have to stop on the way home.  I will be able  to at least play a few days before my trip and then it will probably be almost two weeks before I can get things set up again, drats.  So I will try and put as many screenshots up as possible as far as new items or clothes and furniture.  Of course, there are a few members that will get it first, depending on where they live, sometimes the day before the states.  It won't matter, I am sure the ones that get it on release day, will be happy to share. :)

The video looks really good!  :)
When the imaginary friend gets turned into real life will they keep the same look but just be part of the family (able to be controlled) or will they turn into just a regular child? I'm guessing they would change completely, but I really like the look of the imaginary friends!  :D

I really, really liked that video, KJSinclair! Thankyou for the link.

Is anyone else as excited about the Bachelor parties? I think they're a brilliant addition. ;D I've always wanted to throw a bacholer/bacholerette party for my sims.  :D
