I absolutely love that bedroom theme, especially the wallpaper.  Thanks for sharing. ;D

My best friend might be getting me Generations for my birthday, so I'll have to wait till August to get it. You lucky things, you get it when it comes out. :p I CANNOT wait. Especially as there will be spiral staircases and hoverbeds!! YEY!

Thanks Chronic...now if only I can remember Managerial Accounting that easily in my final tomorrow.

Am I the only one picturing the conversation a kid has after turning the imaginary friend real?

Kid: Mom mom look cmere quick! I turned Nilbo real he's real!

Mom: Honey now how many times to I have to tell you Nilbo isn't real. Remember what the nice man with the couch said... *sees Nilbo* Shut the front door! Who are you?

Nilbo: *waves* I'm Nilbo
That was really funny! ;D

Maybe you can ask them to get it now, and then that will be an early birthday gift. :)

But, I am really excited with all the pictures coming out. I'm reading this one blog from someone who got to try the game and she is posting one blog a day (I think she's up to #9) explaining the different aspects of the game (like the science set, dating, the imaginary friends).

I feel bad looking at all the spoilers, but I am so excited. Actually, I cannot wait to see how we all interpret things and play our Sims lives.

Nicky has excellently described what dating was in Sims 2. I think that with Generations, dynasty stories will become even more interesting. Do you?

For some reason, I thought you could do that in Sims 1 too, on the Hot Date EP. But, then I read Nicky's reply and realized I was talking about Sims 2. :) And, I think dynasties will so much more fun with us being able to upload memories along with the pictures.

Still very excited.  I've been reading so much about how other players are disappointed and calling this a "light" expansion pack; I'm glad to find some folks here who disagree.  I'm actually putting off starting a story or two because I think it would be fun to start with all this new stuff for kids in particular.

Are we there yet?!   :D

I love the billboard~! ;D
It's so cute!

The treehouse is a little confusing to me. Does this mean kids can play together in them? ???

I'm probably missing the forest for the trees here, but my favorite thing in that picture is the stuffed dragon. ^^''

EDIT: I just found this picture:

What the HECK is going on!? :o

And these pictures got me super excited.

Just LOOK at those chairs! ;D

And this:

SQUEE!

When you register generations you get this pack:

http://store.thesims3.com/setsProductDetails.html?scategoryId=13033&index=0&productId=OFB-SIM3:35966

I clicked on that link and it said there was an error and page could not be displayed, maybe will try again some other time.

Odd.  I see it okay.  It's a couple sweaters, male and female, and an antique telephone.  Spiffy.   ;D  Does anyone even put regular telephones in their sims' homes still?

Nah not really. Using their cell phone is much more easier.   :)

I guess that it is an issue with the site - some can see it and others can't.
But the telephone looks cool. I probably won't use it - cellphones are easier.
