It really seems that this expansion will bring us naughty sims  :D  I'm just sitting here wondering how a neurotic sim would cope with a teenager using the sink to squirt water.  The new game play does sound like fun.

Thanks for the link to developer interview. I appreciated reading that they are attempting to both include new things in each expansion but also to bring back well-loved interactions/things from TS2.  I also noted that he didn't say that there would not be pets or weather.  So, guess it's patience, guys, wait and see what comes out next.  I imagine that the developers, themselves, are going to be more excited about surprising us with new stuff.

I understand that there is disappointment that there is no new world but maybe we can start sharing some of our own right here on the Forum?  And, as for fitting in the new lots, well I have every faith in the wonderful Naga.

I'm also thrilled about the pushchairs strollers, the new park play equipment, the bunkbeds and the spiral staircases.  I'm crossing fingers that the specs stay the same and am looking forward to the release.

Thanks everyone (especially Samoht) for adding all the links as new information is released.

I'm so excited for the filtering option in Build/Buy Modes! That will make it so much easier to keep track of which EPs, SPs, or other items I use when building. It should be a lot easier to build for specific requests for members here since we all have a different mix of EPs, SPs, freebies, and Store Items.
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

The daycare profession sounds great. And they're adding hopscotch and ballet! Sounds like the new skill is Chemistry. And giving gifts! Finally! :D

.. greenhouse (that's the word you were looking for )..

Thanks Hosfac, I'm juggling with few languages now, but regularly speaking only my mother language, so sometimes words skip from my mind or run in wrong direction :D
Lily, I'd love that filtering too, to have theme bar will save me a lot of time! And it would be even more awesome if we could filter vampires and celebrities!
And looking forward to new skills too, but I'm, still reserved toward so many new lots, and no new town. My computer may start complaining about large maps and tons of lots in it..

I wonder if the Day Care profession will tie in with babysitters somehow, and allow teens in active families to take on a part time profession in that field?

Here is a Q&A:

http://au.gamespot.com/pc/puzzle/the-sims-3-generations/news.html?sid=6308310&mode=previews

However it doesn't talk about anything new really, except that EA reads forums to see what we want :)

There is supposed to be a whole heap of info released tomorrow!

I don't like the body hair feature at all. It makes sims look, well... erm... attractive.  :-\

Something to pull me back from Medieval!  I'm asking for it for my "Mom's Day" gift.  MUCH better than flowers that die and candy I can't eat!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

The body hair is hilarious. Hmm if I add that to Antone who is already irresistible, that would make him totally irresistible!! Yummy lol. I'm going to have so much fun egging houses haha.

Finally!  Guys will look more real. The current Sims always make me think they shave their chest, and I find that a little creepy.

Lol@samoht, I do believe that is the way it suppose to look.  Personally, I think it is kind of neat and to picture certain sims with chest hair is well, um, never mind, they are just pixels, lol.  I do know what you mean though.  We have seen these sims the same way for years and now they are improving them more and more.  When I put abs on a sim, it just makes them look more lifelike and then when I play with a sim that doesn't have abs, it looks so not normal, so it is just because we get use to these sims the same way.  I think it is going to be great and think I saw some new swim suits too, not sure.  I never got up the nerve to egg a house, so this is going to be fun. :)

I doubt you can add body hair to Antone, Esther. :( They said it's only available for new Sims. Of course, you can edit him in CAS, but he'll lose relation to Bianca and Melinda, I'm afraid. :(

Yes, but you can always start a new town and a new Antone.  I will be interested in seeing these lots they are talking about.  I have always hated waiting for a new EP, lol. :)
