No, I'm not Jessie! Wonder why'd you think I am. :)
I think those new traits will conflict with some of already existing traits. Thoughts?

The existing traits we have already conflict with some other traits, that is why we can't use them together.  I am sure it will be great and finding out these things are half the fun.  Of course, I am all for more family stuff anyway, so this will be great for me. ;D

You appear to be very fluent, that's all.  :)

Hmm, maybe Rebellious might conflict with Good, and Evil/Mean-Spirited with Nurturing. Otherwise, they would be strange combinations.

Maybe Inappropriate would conflict with Nurturing? Somehow. Or Rebellious with, well, Loner?

Unless you argue that you can be Rebellious in a good way for a good cause. Vice Versa for being Nurturing to the wrong people etc. I wonder if Rebellious and Couch Potato will clash, as the CP will be too lazy to be rebellious?

Well, it's not me speaking, it's Google Dictionary! ;D
Y'know I'm not a native speaker! Excuse me.

Oh yeah, I know that.  I was just offering some additional information in an attempt to help you out.  No offense meant.  ;)

Nurturing will likely deal with raising children at the very least, so I'd guess that this one would conflict with Dislikes Children, and possibly even Mean Spirited.  However, Rebellious doesn't really seem to overtly conflict with anything, really.  Nothing that comes to mind immediately, anyways.

Wonder if Rebellious Sims can hold protests at the City Hall? That would be great, especially for Leto. He wanted that one for months now. ;) Generations has to be the best expansion pack so far.

I guess you could be rebellious in a good way. I think I'll have to wait to find out about the Nurturing and Evil, though (A few days later than everyone else  :'() I'm not sure if CP and Rebellious would conflict, because Sims can be Couch Potatoes and still love the outdoors, I think it might be the same kind of thing as that, if I'm making sense. It's quite late where I am, lol.

Sorry if this has already been posted here before, but...

I've noticed that with every EP for the Sims 2 and 3, there's been a new life state. Do you know if there'll be one for Generations? :-\

All I've seen on this topic so far is speculation that the Imaginary Friend is the new life form.  I don't think there's any other information, not that I'm aware of anyway.

Oh, okay.
Imaginary friends sound cool, though! What do we know about them so far?

I'm looking forward to Generations, and I'll likely pre-order it. I'd love to have more for my kids to do!

I still think Late Night is my favorite EP, but then I prefer 'adult' activities (No Disney - Yes Deadwood  ;D). I would love it if EA would make a M for Mature version, but I can't imagine it would sell well enough to make it worth the R&D.

I'm super excited about Imaginary Friends!! I hope the chemistry set does some new and different things. I agree that re-hashing Sims 2 features is somewhat pointless. I'd like pets back, but other than that I'd rather have new features for Sims 3!

and most of all... Spiral Staircases!!!  Squeeeee!!!!!!!!!   ;D

What I've read is that children will be able to "summon" an imaginary friend after ordering a doll of them through the mail.  They will be able to play with them and will get social by doing so, but they will be the only ones who can see them.  If you switch to another sim, the imaginary friend will disappear from view and the child will appear to be playing by themselves.  Children with high relationships will be able to convince the imaginary friend to do things for them (run errands was one thing specifically I saw mentioned somewhere), and at some point, the child will have a way to make the imaginary friend real if they want to.

This, in and of itself, has sold me on this expansion pack lol.

I wonder what EA means: Adults can suffer mid-life crises?
I hope it's like an epiphany. "Change your life" wish or something.

I'm also wondering what the mid-life crisis will be about. I sincerely hope it won't be like a week-long phase of +/-30 mood with a moodlet entitled "Mid Life crisis," followed by a bunch of random wishes to fulfill.

"Fully grown sims can have a full blown mid life crisis that allows them to change their hair style and colour, and hopefully blow all their savings on a collection of sports cars." I wonder if that means new hairstyles meant solely for adults going through a mid-life crisis or not.. The prospects of this mid-life crisis gig appear to be kind of boring, but hopefully I'm wrong.
