This imaginary friend thing really has me wanting this.  I haven't looked forward to any Sims expansion this much.

Is it out yet?

How about now?

Now?

Lol no unfortunately it won't be out until May 31st in the USA  :( I know the feeling though! I keep watching the trailer and wanting to try it on my sims, but it wouldn't work.  :( I don't think it would anyways, haha. Maybe I could try it!  ;D

I wonder when it's released in NZ? I'm guessing May 31st.

Wonder if a Sim with an imaginary friend can marry him and if they can try for baby? Wow, what if there's a 50/50 chance for the child to be an imaginary friend?!

That's exactly what I was wondering when someone posted that imaginary friends have the ability to be a romantic interest. I'm also curious as to how they would become real. Perhaps something made with the chemistry set would allow them to become real. Also, does anyone know if the imaginary friends disappear after the teen ages up into a young adult?

Well according to the article pallyndrome linked to we have two new traits. Nurturing and Rebellious. That is if I was reading it right.

It's funny how the other expansion packs added way more stuff to the game, but this is the one I'm most excited about.

Right. The word 'nurturing' means educated, cultured, even encouraging, while 'rebellious' means something like a protester. The first trait fits the children theme very well, but the second, in my opinion, doesn't. Maybe it will be for protesting teens, and teens with that trait could occasionally skip school without being lectured or so?

The rebellious trait fits the teen perfectly well! Teens are (and not all are, don't get me wrong), but teens generally are rebellious. They want to go out and try different things in life without their parents. Think of 'Rebel without a cause' for example. I know I was rebellious when I was a teen. I wanted to do everything by myself, and of course my way was sooo much better than my parents. Most of the time if my parents said white, I would say black. I wanted to go out all the time and stay out late.  ::)

Thankfully I was also too much of a nerd to skip school and let my grades slide (the one or two times I didn't make the honour roll I was devastated), or to take up smoking, or get drunk, etc.

You're describing my current lifestyle. ;D I guess my simself has that trait. Well, goes well with Grumpy and Insane. :D

Right. The word 'nurturing' means educated, cultured, even encouraging, while 'rebellious' means something like a protester.

Nurturing means that someone likes to help things grow, either physically, emotionally or both.  My father had a nurturing nature, but none of the words you used really describe him lol.

Rebellious just means that someone opts to go with things that do not fit into the accepted norm.  People can be rebellious even after growing up, and protesting would definitely fit into that.

Really? I really would never have guessed.  :)

Back on topic, these traits sound really good, especially rebellious! I like trying new traits though, because I like my Sim's personalities to be varied. And I wonder what impact these ones will have on our Sims...
