Geez I thought I knew everything about TS3 but man I learning something new everyday! This place is awesome. So is this cheat in the manual of the game or we have to go find it online or something?

Can you tell I don't use cheats very much? Only ones I are motherlode, kaching, and maxmotives. I thought I knew household funds but it never works for me.

I think the cheat to get them back into CAS is have testingcheatsenabled true on then Shift+click the sim and it will say Edit in CAS. I'll PM you with the answer to familyfunds cause it's not exclusive to Generations.

That is precisely how it works, Esther. The "Edit In CAS" button did not appear for my vampire however, so I guess it doesn't work on mummies, simbots or vampires. It works on ghosts, but shows them as normal sims when you get to CAS.

Instead of using maxmotives, you could try using testingcheatsenabled true to shift-click the mailbox and choose "Make Needs Static".

Wow, sounds like when I do my install tomorrow I should try out this testingcheatsenabled true thing. I believe that maxmotives won't work in TS3 so I spose that mailbox click will be beneficial. Thanks Naga and Esther. Sounds that there's a whole new world of play with that cheat. Doesn't work for Vamps, Ghosts, mummies. Got it. What about the children? Or that imaginary friend person?

Wow, okay so I tried that whole digital version thing with this expansion pack. Thought I would at least give it a try and guess what? They don't have a midnight release for it! Nope, I have to wait until noon. That's just awesome...

I'm too impatient for pre-orders, so I'm waiting until it's past pre-order Status. I'm from the US, too. Has anyone from the States actually been able to download it and play Generations?

As I'm in the UK I don't get to download it for another 3 days. It occurs to me that I could have easily downloaded a pirate copy already. I wonder how many customers who have done so.

3. Don't discuss piracy. Sorry, we can't help you with bugs and addons you can't get because your copy is pirated. Enjoy the forum but keep your piracy to yourself and understand that there should be some limitations. Go buy the game or ask for it as a present!  We also don't allow discussions of CD cracks.
