I canceled it from Amazon and ordered from EA so I will be getting the 2 I'm missing! I'm so excited about that. I've never played 1 or 2 and I'm not even interested in them, but I so can't wait for this to come out! 8 more days. Hope I don't burst with excitement!  ;D

I am right there with you CSquared. I was up about 2 am last night this is reading about it last night. I already preordered it so I can get my free Outdoor Living Stuff. Can't wait till next week.

RunAmok I am so glad you decided to give TS2 a try. I also play simultaneously with TS3. However if Generations is going to be anything like I am hoping, I will probably cut back on the TS2 activity a bit. I miss the memories because I like to look back on what my sims have done. They were also useful for keeping track of thimgs.

In the long run you will be glad that sims 2 and 3 are not mixed. I find from other sites that it can be a bit confusing and annoying. Pam might just go bald trying to keep everything on order.

Do any of you sometimes get annoyed with EA?

I just got an email from them that says  if I order Generations before May 30 I would get a free Outdoor Living.  I didn't run out and buy it when it first came out because there wasn't anything I was really excited about. I picked it up about a week ago when I was browsing for some other things. Who knew?

I did the same thing. I bought it in the store. Then I saw Pam's thread about out and took it back to  store.  ;D

Did you open it yet? RunAmok?

It's much more expensive than any other expansion pack is! £25 Online for me, I also have OL so that won't make it any better. At least it will be Half Term when it comes out.  :)

38 Euro's here, if I'm right. I've of course preordered it already by the nearest toyshop in my village so I can get it I think somewhere next week.

@ Fez: How cool for you that you can get it sooner than in August.

Just pre-ordered from Amazon! It was my birthday on Friday so along with some excellent new knitting equipment from my hubby (he knows me well!) I got a check from my in-laws that I will spend part of to get the game! I am excited! I'm not particularly interested in Outdoor Living so Amazon will do fine for me :) Plus, I want to for sure get it the day of!

I think I have a problem.   :P  I'm anticipating Generations so much, I'm not playing at all currently and tonight . . .  I did chores.  All the dishes, cleaned the cat box and did laundry, on a weeknight.  Next Tuesday can't come fast enough, or I'm going to turn into Martha Stewart.

My mom has pre-ordered Generations and OLS for my brother for his birthday (he turns 21 tomorrow) so even though I can't afford Generations yet, I'm super excited for him to get it so I can see what it's like. I guess I'll have to live vicariously through him.

Here it is. :)

Jessi thank you so much for sharing the broadcast. I'm watching as I'm typing. I'm holding back as best I can to not do caps. But I am LOVING this!!! (sorry Pam I couldn't help it) I can't wait till next week. I already pre-ordered it. Did I say that already?

Why is it that I never know about these things? There was a question and answer section that people were able to get into. I would have to be able to be a part of the question and answer section. How do find out when things are happening? At least the questions were ones that I actually had. And it cleared some of th whacky rumors I was reading and hearing about from other sites. I was wondering how the generations would interact with the other EPs. I didn't hear anyone ask about honeymooning in the WA places though. And the abs on the guys are very good. My romantical Sim daughter is going to go crazy!

This is sooo awesome. I can't even sit still. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to come. How am I going to make it till next week? Did mention that I pre-ordered it so I can get OL? What if it doesn't come on the release day and I have to wait longer?!  :'(

@CSquared, I did some chores as well. I haven't even installed the game like I said I would when I came back on. I feel like I'm trying to clean my house and have a ceremonious event installing all my games at once. I haven't done that since TS2. My little 9year old thinks I'm acting weird.  ???

My current Rock Star carried his infant nephew to the beach for a party without me realizing it!  He just laid the baby on the ground and partied!  I had to bring his sister to come get her baby because the uncle had to go to work straight from the party.  It was funny.  I'd really like to see items to carry babies around, especially infants.  Just laying them on the ground is so bad.  Right now, I use Edit Town to place cribs and toys in public locations so that my Sims can bring their babies and toddlers when they study at the library or fish at the park.

Hey Pam remember when you said that? I guess they finally heard your plea. Speedy recovery!!

@Leto and Platnum

That's the pushchairs can be left standing still with the baby in it, I don't know why but I am under the impression it is just for the transportation and moving, well fingers crossed anyway  ;)
