I went one more step to see if I could get the option for a disk, but because the only option at the start was digital download, that's all it said on the order.  The next step was my cart with the big orange Check Out button.  I didn't go any further.  I got a screenshot of the spot where it should have the options for both physical disk and digital download so y'all could see it it and tell me if it looked like this for you.

I just tried the same thing Pam, but when I got there it gave me two choices, Physical and Digital Download. I wonder why it doesn't give you the option? I plan on buying the digital download soon, If I can talk my dad into buying it.

I just tried it too and got 2 options. That is really weird.

I only got the Digital Download option. Weird.
I think it is connected to the area or country you are in. Like, both options are available for one US state, while for the other only Digital Download is possible

I always just could order it as digital from the official site when i tried to preorder it.
Im from Denmark btw. and i think that is why i only have that option.

That's very strange. I can't imagine why EA wouldn't ship a physical copy to Texas, but they would to Ohio. Sure, the sales tax is different, but usually the only states with shipping restrictions are Alaska and Hawaii.

Maybe you could try pre-ordering on Amazon?

I tried it again tonight and was able to pre-order a physical copy.  No idea what the problem was yesterday, but I'm sure glad it worked itself out!

Me too! I thought it was only toddlers that could go in the stroller but it's babies as well! Although, it did look weird for the baby to be bent like that.
