That was pretty cool.  I am kinda glad they moved release to June.  Kinda helps the financial side of it and by then, everyone will have played Medieval for a while, so might be a nice break.  I love the strollers and the new memories part.  Will just have to wait and see what happens.  I still don't get all excited anymore about games until I actually have it in my hand, lol.  Thanks samoht. :)

No announcement from the USA yet though. I guess they got fed up with the UK and the East getting angry that it hit 11am.  :D

Yes! Yes! YES! They brought back memories! :D Love all the new stuff! Though, wish it had pets too. I think there is a new life stage - middle aged or something like that. But I just can't think of any new careers and skills for this one. :(
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

A few people were talking about Aliens in pictures but I didn't see any. I'm trying to decide whether it looks like a new town. Some times it looks like Sunset Valley with the Lighthouse but then it doesn't... Also it looks like Pillow FIghts are back! On the opening text there is the two kids on the first word then under them there is a pillow fight!  ;)

*flairs hands around Kermit the Frog style* Yayayayayayayyayayayay

*puts on serious face* I think this will actually make Dyanasties and Legacies so much more dynamic. Wow that's amazingly proper English first thing in the morning.

*goes back to flailing and yay-ing*

We still should not speculate as of yet.  Like you said samoth, they have not said anything about it in US.  Until that time, we should still not assume anything.  Pam just locked another thread that was started, so if she sees this one, don't be suprised if she locks it.  It probably will be confirmed at some point, but look what keeps happening about getting peoples hopes up and then nothing.  I am not trying to be a kill joy, I love this game as much as the next person, but we have been dissapointed so much in the past.  I am hoping it is true though. ;D

If it isn't then someone in charge of their facebook page is in big trouble. Have you seen the US Facebook page? It's currently exploding. I also got an email from a friend of mine in the UK. He is rubbing it in right now. :P Anywho back on topic

I really hope she doesn't seeing as it's been announced on the official Sims 3 UK page.  Don't know how more official it can get. Don't forget by the time it hits midday(ish) in the US it's outside business hours for us in Europe.

The Trailer was released by EAVision who seem to be legit, didn't see anything on the EA main site when I looked though. You would have thought they would have it set up to release all at once.

Well not necessarily if they are going per major time slot. Naturally the would assume fans wouldn't go delving into their UK websites in America. That's corporates underestimating fans. Not to mention in a few hours they are announcing "big" news...so they probably didn't think when the UK Facebook page had it posted first.

They also don't realise that all the UK Fans expect the announcements to come through the Page that hosted the event and have liked both pages. It reminds me a lot of Free Time and that family stuff pack from Sims 2 with the Dinosaur costumes and there are also those springy rides in the video from Sims 2.

Now there is talk that the US might be announcing two things because of the x2. I though that was just the Store stuff and this but everyone thinks that it's going to be that Unleashed announced.  ::)

EA Games has Announced It Now!

Quote
“The Sims 3 Generations includes new gameplay experiences and content that our community has been requesting for years including bunk beds, expansive weddings, midlife crises and more,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA. “Imagine booby trapping a friend’s toilet or turning your imaginary friend into a real person, throwing bachelor or bachelorette parties, all to spend your elder Sims years reminiscing about the past.”

Curiosity appeased!  ;D So, reading the announcement, the new creature is your imaginary friend, and the new death is by chemistry set. This sounds like an amazing EP, and I can see why they've left it until now to do this one. All the other EPs have added lots to the game, more so in terms of new jobs and objects, more like exanding the base game with the, very different, EPs. Generations, I feel, will bring them all together. Plus they have filled in the gaps, with more things to do with kids (pre-YA), and of course, elders.

Very clever, and well-done EA.

Yeah, I wonder if this Imaginary Friend will be a bit lame though. It makes sense for the Creature to be associated with kids though. Hope my Sims don't do what I did to stop believing in imaginary friends (And throw them out the window of the top floor  ;D)
