Evil sims have to have a low enough relationship with another Sim. I should have added that Jared Frio's daughter also exhibited the Evil Trait, which is why he was getting along well with his daughter. Evil and Mean-Spirited Sims actually get along quite well with each other, unless the mean-spirited Sim is also a good Sim. Evil Sims can still have polite conversations, and exhibit the friendly trait, just like mean-spirited Sims can still donate money to charity and want to congratulate others on their wedding day, when they have the good trait.

I noticed that Grumpy Sims autonomously flip-flop between negative and positive interactions, with no neutral balance. One of my grumpy sims was autonomously politely having a friendly conversation with one of the Roomies. When the Sim got really tired, the conversation did a complete 180, and the Sim just started arguing, and fighting with that same person. When everything is fine and dandy and their needs are met, they have autonomously polite conversations, however, any sort of negative influence on the Sim, (such as low needs, crying babies, another Sim's rude remarks), they will autonomously rudely interact with other Sims, especially the parent of the crying baby. This happened when Gunther Goth was sitting on the table minding his own business, trying to get work done, at Central Park. Marty Keaton's toddler son was in dire need of a nap, and was very cranky. As soon as Marty Keaton put his son down, Gunther, immediately yelled at him, simply because it was Marty's crying baby, and it was getting on his nerves. Grumpy Sims might be the most difficult Sims to please. Hot Headed Sims, have actually gone into rage, and even broke a few objects on many occasions. Justine Keaton actually broke a dollhouse, when the Repoman took her belongings, (she forgot to pay the bills), and had a broken sink, flooded kitchen, from the broken sink, a crying baby, and was extremely tired to top it all off. Claire Ursine broke her TV, after her ex-boyfriend, had autonomously yelled at her, when I was playing with her ex-boyfriend Jared Frio (his wishes both stated, "Be Mean To Claire" and "Snuggle Candace"), and had him visit his daughter. So after I did my "testingcheatsenabled true" and fulfilled his wish to be mean to Claire. Claire broke the TV. Tamara Donnor broke a chair after being rejected by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd, being very hungry and very tired, getting creeped out by Stiles McGraw, and having her stuff repossessed when she forgot to pay the bills. Xander Clavell broke the stereo a few times too.

My favorite trait at the moment is neurotic and adventurous. Because if you let your sim stand for a while with only that trait they will make some beautifull animation (which I use for filming).
But back in the time I actually play Sims just for playing than I have to choose Workaholic, because it let the sim work on their job at home. But on the other hand, it all depends on the situation I am in.

Ah, neurotic Sims. Those ones are quite amusing. Anyone ever play with insane sims? Those Sims are quite interesting.

I love playing Insane Sims. Particularly because they will eat their meals on the toilet, show up at the Bistro in their PJ's and swim around in their tuxes. I get a laugh out of them swatting at imaginary pixels.

Ok, I have to ask:  how in the world did you come to this conclusion?

The game mechanics only take into account the other sims traits in regards to available interactions.  Evil sims do not automatically get along with Mean Spirited sims because of the traits...in fact, if they do get along, it's in spite of them.  Mean Spirited and Evil sims are identical in their desire to argue.  The only difference is that evil sims get a positive moodlet from it.  The AI's of the sims is "self centered," which means that they are only capable of considering their own traits when deciding which interaction is appropriate.  You are trying to apply a depth to the AI that simply just isn't there.

The founder of my current Dynasty was married to an evil sim, and he was mean to her somewhat regularly...and I kept their relationship maxed.

On a side note, any sim will eat their meals on a toilet if it is the only seat available in the house.  But no sim will seek out a toilet if there is a dining chair available.  Not even an insane one.  I have played close to 15-20 insane sims (possibly even more).  Outside of Green Thumb, this is probably the one trait I have the most experience with.

The Green Thumb is a very nice trait, to play with, pair that with Eco-friendly, Vegetarian, and Loves the Outdoors, and you have the perfect granola Sim, the fourth trait should be Slob, since all that gardening will get a Sim dirty.

Dislikes Children might be one of my favorite traits, to give the Elderly Sims. Every town has to have that grumpy old man living alone, sitting on the porch, shooing the children away. It's just icing on top of the cake. It's my male, modern substitute for Agnes Crumplebottom. (As in, the Sims 2 version.)

On the toilet? That's funny. I thought they only do that when there is no seat on the lot.

I believe the most famous picture of a Sim sitting on a toilet resides here, in this post. Just scroll down. ;) It is a courtesy of Pam.

Hahaha, seeing that picture again brought back a lot of memories regarding Pam's dynasty!

Pretty much all of the traits have some value to them (minus the Never nude and vehicle enthusiast traits) and I enjoy randomizing my Sims traits, as a previous poster said as well

Insane Sims will go sit on a toilet or a bathtub for no reason they will also eat flies when they catch them it is pretty gross.
Other then when I am playing a dynasty or a challenge I tend to roll the dice for my Sims traits.

How does a Sim catch a fly?

Occasionally an insane Sim will reach out and grab a fly from out of the air and then eat it.

See I told you. My cousin (in sim form) has the insane trait, and we happen to live in a really nice house in Riverview, with 5 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and she will randomly sit on the toilet. The Hart Family has all their essentials for living, and they are still found sitting on the toilet. Dorie Hart did catch a fly and ate it, when she was wearing her PJ's over at central park, while I wasn't playing the family.

I may add too, that Hot Headed Sims have been known to break doll houses, if their needs are low enough. How about you purchase a couple of doll houses, and use your "testingcheatsenabled true" just to put the short tempered needs low, get them ticked off by another Sim. Click on the dollhouse, and watch them release their anger.
