Wow looks really awesome :)  Did you make this from floor plans? It looks so "real" if you know what i mean :)

Sort of, I copied the look of the front of the house off a picture that had blue prints, but I didn't use them. I always tend to mess up the floor plan, lol! And thank you so much :D!

Edit: Here is the picture I used.

I've downloaded it, will try to work on the rooms later on today, I can see it as a home for a project story, if that is okay with you.  I need a nice home that isn't too expensive for a family to move into yet have room to grow also.  I can see being able to add a second floor to the house.
Turn the garage into an indoor pool and exercise room.

@ Janna
Yes, I would be happy if you used my house in your project! I am glad you have been able to use it, I just did not know where to start furnishing it :P.

So I was attempting to build a house for my current family and I went into a trance and realised after a while that I was building something that was completely not what I wanted, but I didn't want to waste 2 hours of hard work so I've decided to upload this shell. The walls drawn in indicate 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but you can do whatever you want. Contains only base game items.

Name: Poppy
Lot size: 40x40
Bedrooms: 4
Bathrooms: 3
Cost: Not completely sure, but <$40 000
Items used: Base game only

Hope you make something out of this!

Hi Acustical.
All uploads needs more info :) Like lot size, the cost, and what packages/store items if used.

Connifer Hall

I actually remembered to upload this as a shell before I knuckled down with the huge task of furnishing this mansion. Living in England, I sometimes get to see the Stately Homes around the place, and I tell you what, they are gorgeous! So this house is inspired by these beautiful homes (but is completely from my own imagination). Hope you like it. There are a couple of statues around. I couldn't help myself. Easy to remove if you don't want them.

Lot Size: 64x64
EP: Supernatural, Island Paradise, World Adventures, Seasons, Showtime, University Life, Ambitions
SP: None
Store: The Misty Lion (Note: The fountain is part of the Live, Laugh, Love set. It can also be downloaded by itself here. Picture below.)

This is completely inspired by Neasha's Build of Spanish Summer. I was looking for a Tuscan mansion and found hers, however I was having trouble furnishing it to the point that I liked it so I built my own. I took some ideas from her house so she has full credit for whatever she sees fit.

Name: Tuscan Mansion (not very original sorry)
Lot Size: 64 x 64 but it might fit on a 50 x 50, definitely will fit in a 60 x 60
EPS Used: Ambitions, Pets, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Late Night, Supernatural. Only really requires Supernatural and Late Night for windows. Rest are present in decorations/furnishings. Island Paradise used for a fountain.
Store Content used: Orange Hibiscus Tree (Sunlit Tides) and Celtic Slateless Window (Dragon Valley). Both are easily replaceable and shouldn't be a problem if you don't have them - they will be simply replaced with proxies.
Cost: 211,534
I recommend probably replacing the harsh stones with the original yellow/orange wall. I started to dislike it more and more.

@ Jaaaaks, that building is showing up as having store items too, which you should mention - Celtic Slatless Windows and an Orange Hibiscus tree. I think they may be from worlds perhaps.

Ah yes, I think the Orange Hibiscus is from Sunlit Tides and the Celtic Slateless is from Dragon Valley - didn't mean to include them there. Thanks for the heads up - I'll add that in. Sims 3 exchange didn't catch it.

Hello lovely forumites, this is my first time posting after spending most of yesterday gawping at the gorgeous shells on this forum so I thought I'd contribute my own shell for people to play with.

Name: Modern Keep
Lot Size: 30x30
EPS Used: Ambitions, Generations, Pets, Seasons, Late Night, Supernatural, Into The Future. (I think the only ones actually used were Generations and Into The Future but I couldn't swear it)
Store Content used: None
Cost: $91,865

This is my Modern Keep, based somewhat on the castles of yore and given a lighter, brighter more futuristic feel. There are 4 towers loosely decorated in the theme of Earth, Air, Fire and Water connected by corridors that would suit being sun lounges or relaxation areas. Each tower has two floors with the top floor forming a bedroom (two with ensuite) and the lower floors forming two single garages and two entertainment rooms that I've assigned man cave and reading room in my head but they could also work as workshops or hobby rooms or even more bedrooms if you have a large family/ servants quarters.

The core building has the basic necessities of kitchen and small bathroom with 3 rooms that may suit a study, nursery, dining room or entertainment rooms. Upstairs lies the main bathroom, a larger room perhaps suited to art studio, music or hobby room and 4 corridors leading to the towers. The roof is flat and would be suitable for a roof garden.

At the front of the house there is a gate house, designed mostly to keep zombies and paparazzi at bay. There are two doors which you can lock independently for further security.

There is no furnishing at all, no lighting or landscaping so it's a completely blank slate ready for you to take an artistic eye to!

Exterior of building showing Gatehouse and two Single Garages

Ground Floor Layout

First Floor Layout

Core Building from back - Small WC, three rooms and Hallway

Side of building showing circular windows to Sun Lounges

If I were to expand on this I think it could benefit from a basement with a pool and perhaps another floor but it already feels large enough for a big family. I'd love to see this furnished so please let me know if you use it!
