I downloaded this one myself and it is really nice grimsoul.  I put it on a large lot and am going to build a shed and a large garden and move a family from another town with kids in there, should be awesome.  Thanks.

Sounds nice. I figured if anyone used it they would want it on a bigger lot. There's not much room left on the lot I used.
Would like to see a picture of it when you get done. I'm working on furnishing myself. Be interesting to see what some else does with it.

Matherion Estate / Palace of the Sun

As is often the case I ended up with a very difrent shell than th one I envisioned when I started this one yesterday. This 64x64 structure couldbe a grand house or some sort of massive venue.  I started it as a house but the way it turned out it could be either.  The Architectural grunt work is 95% done all that remains is to arrange interior walls as desired and add some more windows to the outer "wings".

Any store or stuff pack things have been removed though there may still be some wall texture from Late night I'm not sure.

The landscaping is still very rough as I mainly wanted to test my building skills and hte limitations of the game.

Note:- Any uploads should probably be done in here due to the Building being done by another Member, we also don't want several copies of the same building even with different insides in the Swap Shop.

So if I furnished my Victorian Farmhouse shell I would upload it here instead of the Swap Shop?

Swap Shop, this thread is only for the Shells not furnished versions. You can post a link but the download should be in the Swap Shop.

I have a building shell!  :D I am very proud because it started just as a box but became gorgeous (in my opinion) after a little painting, windows, doors and then landscaping! It took me almost the whole day but it was worth it. This is the biggest lot I have ever built in, 64x64. I was trying to make time go faster and curing my PEPS (pre-expansion pack syndrome) for Pets. So it's for horses mostly.  :P

Paso Fino 3br, 2.5ba
Lot Size: 64x64
Perfect Placement: I removed the Sports career place thing in SV. I liked the place where it was and where it led, there is a little path/road in the back leading to Crystal Springs. So it's 55 Landgrab Ave.
Furnished: 92,230 (Things inside the barn and lights.)
Unfurnished: 88,436
EPs/SPs: World Adventures
Pictures:

Here is an unfurnished shell that I just built.

It contains some expansion and store content but as it is unfurnished, switching it out with something else won't take long.
- Trees from Ambitions
- Elevator from Night Life
- Garage Door, Windows, Doors from Bauhaus Store Set (available here: http://store.thesims3.com/setsProductDetails.html?categoryId=&scategoryId=12336&index=0&productId=OFB-SIM3:19504&pcategoryId=12859&ppcategoryId=12335)

The lot is 40 x 40 and was built on 65 Subalpine Drive in Hidden Springs, near the sports stadium. Cost: $85,860

What a great idea to let other people finish off an unfurnished place. I love building, but often get stuck at the decorating stage, especially on builds that were not designed with a particular sim in mind.
I haven't played for a while, but the release of Pets got me going again and last night I actually stopped playing to build.. probably won't be playing an actual game for a bit because I'm really enjoying the build.
With all the horsey/farm things now just begging to be used, I'm building a farm, but certainly not a farm for those sims just starting out, this will be one they will need to save up for lol

One question. Are people still uploading their houses in the Swap Shop as well as this thread? Some people who use the Swap Shop may not come here, but would still download undecorated houses.

When I asked Pam where to put it she said to post it in here. I've only posted my Shells in this Thread though and not the Swap Shop because I never furnish them, I get bored easily when it comes to furnishing.
