Quick way to level up heroes

Warning- Save before attempting, just in case

I've found a great way to get loads of quick experience with any hero: Jump into the pit of judgment! First feed the beast 3 times with meat you get from hunting or the shops and then you can jump into the pit up to 2 times. The beast will give your hero sim sweet tentacle love instead of attacking and you get 200 xp each time!! Plus you get positive buffs from feeding the beast, surviving the pit, and (eventually) befriending the beast.

I found it on accident when I had to jump in for a quest. My hero was still low level so I fed the Beast in the hopes that it wouldn't eat her if it was full. The best part was when a "Druidess" villager who was near by looked into the pit and broke down crying!

I can safely say that I have sent my hero successfuly down the pit like 4-5 times in a row, without feeding the beast.
I do tend to always save before sending them down tho. Ive died once and it wasnt pleasant losing my progress.

The cool part is befriending the beast!  My cowardly physician has to feed the beast several times during the fountain quest and had I known this I would definitely attempted it since she says, "When it comes time for you to rampage and kill please remember who fed you dear beast."  Or something to that effect.  It cracked me up at the time.

Ok, so I am missing a point here. Does it give you a notification when you have befriended the beast? And how many times a day/total do you have to feed it to befriend?

It doesn't notify you but after about the third or fourth time you jump in you'll get the "New Friend"  buff and if you hover over it it says "From Pit of Judgment". Although, you still have to feed it before jumping in even if you are friends.

Thank you! My Queen is at level 7, so I'm trying to get to level 10 as soon as I can. This will be great help. I wonder to tell how much XP is required to advance a level? Hovering over the meter in the Simology tab didn't show anything, or did I do something wrong?

Note: I haven't been able to befriend the beast with my spy. He is level 6 by now, I believe, and I have fed the beast since level 1 . His traits are evil, loves family and his fatal flaw is cruel. Just seems like the evil trait or fatal flaw might be interfering.

Sorry, I don't have the guide so I don't have the exact numbers  try posting a topic on the forum, I know a lot of people bought that guide and could tell you.

*UPDATE*

I've been playing around with this and it appears to not work if you sim has a hungry, tired, or wounded status, even if you are still fully focused. Be careful and don't forget to save first!
