Hello all! I've started to gather lists of the recipes and the buffs they give to make it easier to go shopping or searching for the right ingredients. For now, I've done the soup and stew recipes. I'll post the others (spit, oven, and cask later). I'm sorry I don't have all of the buffs yet, but will edit when I get them. Also, does anyone have a clue about where to get a haunch of meat?

If your talking about a haunch of meat to feed to the beast, just go to the village shoppe and buy bear or deer meat, or any of the red meats, you can feed to the beast. :)

It was for the Meat Soup. It says one haunch of meat. I think this differs from the boar, bear, venison, or rabbit meats. Maybe it's something you find hunting or on an adventure?

If you're interested, you can just email your other findings to me ([email protected]) and I'll put them all on a nice page and link to it here. It'll save you from trying to space it out, and I was planning that page anyway.

It is the same thing.  The opportunity to feed the beast, requires a haunch of meat.  Any of the red meats will work. :)

Just a small note that Ive found. Oven/roast pit/cauldron recipes have different buff types. Oven ones give short (2 hour), but strong(up to 80 focus) buffs. Roasts give long (around 11 hour) and well, rather small (around 25 or 30 max) buffs. While stews seems to be balanced (around 5 or 6 hours and up to 50 focus).
Feel free to correct me.
An exeption to roasts would be unicornupia, or something to that extent, which has a duration of 1 day and either 70 or 75 focus.
Recipe for that is 1 of each: unicorn meat, bear mear, boar meat, venison meat and rabbit meat, as I recall.

In addition to the above meats, you also need spices to make Unicornucopia.  This is a large serving and will feed the masses ;).

I agree. I could go for some Double Boar Stew!! I'm bumping the priority of this one. Cooking recipes could be helpful to a lot of people. I'll have to install openoffice to get that spreadsheet to work :D

mccoymk, you can have a look at your handywork in HTML format on this new Recipe List. I added some extra info and got the info for the oven. Now it's just a matter of ironing out all the buffs and noting any that deviate from the 5hr, 2hr, 12hr formula for the 3 cooking devices.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I'd just like to point out that food buffs are actually 6 hours, however due to that way the game tracks buffs people will assume it's only 5.

The time shown on buffs doesn't include fractions of hours, if you slow the game right down when eating you'll see the buff pop up with 6 hours then because after one minute it's 5 hours and 59 minutes, it only shows 5 hours.
