Just something I've been wondering about, is that crystal skull maybe a reference to the Indiana Jones movie "Kingdom of the crystal skull"?
A soulpeace skull cut that I have is very similar to the one from the movie...

That's possible. I've seen loads of references to things. Everything from Indiana Jones to Monty Python(the book "How Not To Be Seen"...I actually wasn't aware of that until somebody pointed it out. I died laughing. :P).

Is that true? I'm a huge Monty Python fan, but puns like that goes lost in my game since its the Swedish version and as you know with translations, they really can't catch these things.

Yeah, it's in there. It's a book given to Police officers to increase their relationship with their bosses, and up their career status. I've never seen that particular Monty Python skit, but I really want to now. xD

*Gasp* Someone who has not seen all Monty Python sketches 5 trillion times over and remembers so many "silly" jokes that your best memory of galactic units comes from the galaxy song? I think we must have mr Biggles put you in the comfy chair until you speak!

I know it's been solved but I feel like venting! Before WA came out, I could not find pink diamonds for the life of my poor sim! It's crazy, but that's the reason I found this place! So I guess it was worth the days of almost pulling my hair out looking for them! ;D I'm extremely happy here! Everyone's so nice and we all have TS3 in common!

ROTFL! I am glad someone mentioned breaking space rocks. I have a board breaking in my "home gym" room. All of sudden I noticed that gobs of gems started spawning in that room. Now I know why. One of my Sims is an avid board breaker and that is where they are all coming from. LOL!

I can't remember if the consignment store is part of the vanilla game, but, they sometimes have a heart cut pink diamond for sale at around 7-8k simoleons.  If you don't mind cheating a little, you can place two further tills in the store quite easily and so increase the chances.  Also, buying up as many items as possible will result in new stock being introduced and thus increase the chance of a pink diamond being offered.  (expensive and unreliable!)

I have found several using the miner tool which you can buy (occassionally) from the consignment store, or make at the invention bench.  This can take a long time though.

I believe the consignment store came with Ambitions.
