How do you tell what is needed for next ambition?

I would like to see a "score board" of what I have done and what is needed to finish the ambition I am working on and what is needed to advance.

Is there somewhere to Click for this info? I have looked while ingame but can't figure out what I still need. I have all the Hero Buildings and some of the extra (mill, kingball court etc) - but I have not gotten anything that says I am close or have finished the first ambition.

In the kingdom mode screen you can click on the circular icon that signifies which ambition you are currently working on.  It will then tell you where you are at in the current ambition. 

You have to spend all of your QP before the ambition will end, even if you have gotten everything for the ambition.

I came to the end of the second ambition, after all of that work and it said I failed.  I was in the platinum most of the time, so now, back to the drawing board. 

Simfulicious is right, the lower your QP, the closer to the end you are in the ambition.  Just make sure your platinum stays up though, like I said, I found out the hard way.

There is also a icon with a question mark on it in the top center of the main menu between the ambitions circle and the kingdom list and if you hover the mouse over it, it tells you what you need to get a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum medal for the kingdom ambition. For the first ambition I believe you need something like 13 buildings for platinum, 11 for gold, 8 for silver and 6 for bronze. I think if you run out of QP with fewer than 6 buildings in you kingdom you just fail the first ambition. So Saltypaws, that might be why you failed that other ambition despite finishing your quests in platinum.

Thanks for the info - I will check this now. I couldn't figure out why I was not progressing when I had so many buildings in my kingdom!

Edited to add = I checked and I have a Gold Standing with 12 buildings placed. I only need one more for the Platinum but not getting any progression while at gold.

Do you have 0 Quest Points or 0 Resource points? If it's 0 Resource Points (RP) then you need to do some quests to get enough RP to build the last building. If it's 0 Quest Points (QP) then then your kingdom is done and the gold is your final grade, you won't be able to do any more quests or build anymore buildings. To get a platinum you would have to start another kingdom and make sure to build everything before you run out of QP.
