Does WooHoo always result in Pregnancy?
« on: April 01, 2011, 05:54:07 PM »
I know that they would have much lower protection but I was just wondering because I have only had two WooHoos in my game and have also had two Babies from those WooHoo's so is it almost guaranteed that a Pregnancy will result?

Really? I have never, ever had a pregnancy result from Woo Hoo — only from Try For baby.

My Knight chose the WooHoo option from Romance and my Queen got pregnant from it. It makes sense because they didn't have any contraception then.

My monarch woohoo'd 3 times and ended up with 3 nooboo's. Thank goodness the pregnancy only last a sim day and once they age up to child they are no work unlike TS3.

In TSM pregnancies often, but not always, result from WooHoo.  I found that towards the end of my first kingdom ambition that several of my heroes didn't get pregnant after repeated attempts.  My kingdom already had 5 children of heroes at that point and several NPC kids running around.  I'm not sure why there were no more pregnancies after that, because early on it seemed that every WooHoo ended up in a kid.

Yes, Metro doesn't get those moments very often, so it is pretty rare to catch him in one. ;)

On topic now.  When I first got the game, I was wondering where the "try for baby" was, until I had a hero and another sim woohoo and I heard that medieval music.  Of course, the next day, I figured it out.  After that, I am not sure how often more hero's would woohoo and it would not result in pregnancy.  It took until almost the end of the first ambition to have another baby.  Good grief, lol.  The next ambition, almost every woohoo ended up with a baby.  Go figure. :)

Haha, no worries Metro!  :D

I thought that they might not include Try for Baby because there was no contraception to be used in Medieval times. My Licentious Queen and Knight probably won't mind some tests on the subject though.  ;D

Mine has resulted in pregnancy less than half the time.  I think it varies from game to game.

The Licentious fatal flaw rises fertility level dramatically. With my licentious queen, all of her multiple woohoos result in pregnancy.

My current monarch finally met and accepted the father of the heir to the throne, and as anxious as they both were, she did not wait for the wedding.  So she has a nooboo.  In order to finish the quest, she had to map out her strategy for getting pregnant, (didn't do it for this nooboo), and then whoohoo with her spouse.  Soooo, had the baby, that night whoohoo according to strategy and is now preggers again!  I can hardly wait to see how that's going to work out!  Two cradles?
What?  Grannies can't play games?

The kids age up in a day or two I find. Has anyone had Twins or does it just not happen in Medieval?
