Three Teens and a Promotion
Chris and I sat back after the cake was put up to get a moment of reflection. Then he ruined my reverie by pointing out we had three teenagers. He then followed that up with "Remember when we were teenagers?" I called my mom and Chris called his. Apparently, they were in Bridgeport together at some club called the Grind. Chris and I just stared at each other then we both said we were sorry at the same time. That gave the older women some laughs when we told them it was because we now had teenagers. Apparently, our mothers, who had outlived their husbands, were doing everything and anything they wanted until Grim made his final visit. They were even going to bargain he take both of them. Crazy old bats. Watcher love them.
I think the crazy is in the gene pool. Couple of days after the last birthday party, Jamie and Chris went to Morganna Wolff's new place for a party. Jamie kept trying to get everyone to take a new drug out on the market and Chris left to go skinny dip at the pool next door before heading to his usual spot in the cemetery.
After homework and dinner, Mike picked up his first chisel and started working with some clay under Aggie's tutelage. She said he was a natural and let him enjoy the feeling of creation.
Pepper continued to work on his art. He reached the level where he could confidently do portraits by the time he was done with his latest piece.
Saturday morning came around and I found the younger two actually doing their homework. I'm fairly certain I heard a whisper about adults never doing the dishes.
While feeding the fish, Chris told me he was never doing dishes again. The man was dead to the world and he still heard the kids in the other room. I think Grandpa Owen would be proud.
Something is always going on in our house. That day was also the day that Pepper decided his ultimate goal was to have a perfect mind to go with his perfect body. I let him down gently by saying "if it wasn't for my good looks, he wouldn't have a chance." His mother heard me and threw a towel at my head on her way to the art room. I didn't understand why she did it so I went to go play video games with Jamie and Chris to let Pepper get stinky all by himself
With my birthday the next day, I went to work to get my final promotion. Who's the best chef in Sunset Valley? This guy.
Although, my wife makes some of my achievements look small compared to what she can do. I came home to tell her about the promotion to find the art room had been turned into a sweatshop.
Not only that but she can sculpt a fountain from stone that already has water in it .
Chris tried to play the one up game and built himself a pond. He said this way he could fish and wouldn't have to drive in the middle of the night anymore. I think he's just tired of getting me seeds from around the graveyard.
The day of the big bash for Pepper and myself started with a scream. Mike had taken it upon himself to start a metal sculpture. That didn't turn out so well for him.
Dill isn't evil but I think he has a streak in him somewhere. He laughed harder than anyone else to see his best friend on fire. Then after Mike had on new pants, they had a laugh together and became best friends forever.
Pepper had invited someone over but with the hazard that Mike posed to her health, they quickly left and went to her house. My wife may have been on to something the week before. She would make cute Steel babies if Pepper played his cards right.
Though I think the whole house would prefer she didn't pass on her eye color.
Ricanote: Shantel's eyes are pink! Also, the boys were really talking about dishes and trash and that's when I noticed Chris who was sleeping in the other dreaming as if he could hear them. I had to pause the game and take screenshots. Sometimes this game just cracks me up. And i know the pond is kinda meh. It's the first one I've ever done. I'm going to try to use some terrain paints to make it better but I don't have the steadiest hand and my mouse is a trackball.
