Share Your TSM Funny Moments

I'm really interested to hear what things you've seen, heard  or done that really tickled your funny bone while playing.  To get the ball rolling:

- As I've mentioned in another thread I think body function humor (farts, belches, etc.) is hysterical - I realize I should have outgrown this at my age, but in that respect I'm still very adolescent.  I just about choked the first time my Peteran priest gave a sermon and all the peasants were farting in church!  Even now if you happen to be standing near someone in my village they will randomly fart... !

- I sent my monarch on the quest to produce an heir.  At one point this quest required her to get on the ship to retrieve an item - I don't want to get more specific in case you haven't done that quest yet.  While she was on the ship this little message pops up that the monarch thought she saw a sperm whale winking at her!  LOL

- Same quest with my monarch and she has to go freshen up to meet her potential suitors.  She makes a comment about taking a bath even though she took one last year.   

- I love watching my physician diagnose someone.  I guess she thinks they'll forgot about what ails them if she pulls on their tongue hard enough.

- Dire chinchillas...'nuff said.

If you've done the quest with a wizard then you know what this picture represents.  I did this with this particular wizard and realized it was just one of those Sim moments.

My monarch has a wife and also a male lover.  I wasn't sure how jealousy worked in TSM, so I let the lover see the king smooching with his wife.  He did get a jealous thought bubble, but now he follows the king everywhere.  Off to search for a child?  Fight a chinchilla?  Jump in the pit?  Count me in!

I also love how unabashed they are about their bodily functions.  My vain monarch will be preening in the mirror while his buildmaster takes advantage of the chamber pot right behind him.  They do this often and typically don't even acknowledge each other.  Not so different from a modern men's restroom, really!

I've also had sims bow to the monarch when they were just a smidge too close, causing their heads to bow right through his pelvis.  Like I said before, he's vain, so I like to think he likes even this admiration.

As I mentioned in another thread, my absolute favorite game play element is the method of observation used by the physician when the patient in on the operating table: *Poke* How does that feel? *Poke* Yeah, I think you're right, one more leech will do. *Poke* Are you sure it doesn't hurt here? *Poke*

The one that cracked me up, was when my wizard had to forget a spell and he she cracks her head with her stick.  I was not quite expecting that and I thought I was going to fall on the floor laughing.

Had a couple that made me laugh so far.

1.  The Monarch is on an education mission, and has to get Kane the Servant to get him a ghost outfit.  Kane takes ages, but eventually turns up with the item ... he's limping and battered and wearing rags.  The pop-out message comes up, and Kane says "Don't ask!" 

2.  The Castle bathroom turned into a great meeting-place for everyone.  Visiting royalty using the pot, Master Builder having a bath and everyone else standing around chatting

My Monarch sim was asking other sims what they thought of her, the Jester made some poem up about her ending in the line about her clothes being the best of last year's fall. My Monarch Sim then responds with:

"....."
"you're fired!"

I didn't get this at first, but my second time doing the quest made it crystal clear.  Wow, that's just freaky!  BTW, I just love your wizard...my new one is wearing the same thing (different hair style) and also has purple hair - more of an aubergine, but purple nonetheless.  I don't suppose she has elf ears under the hair?

It's great not to get that negative moodlet sims get in TS3 if someone walks in on them in the bathroom.  I also noticed that my sims don't seem to have any issues with WooHooing when their kids are around.  My wizard and Peteran priest are married and they hopped in bed together while their daughter was in the same room.  I think they waited to dive under the covers until she left, but still no one wants to see their parents like that - it could scar someone for life!

Only difference was a shade of skin tone and a nose!  Plus the colors of course.




Edit: Also I'm doing the Knight Legendary Trait quest (over and over and over to figure out the sequence to actually get the LT) and i just noticed as you're on your way to the first fight of the war games, it says "Time to introduce that Count (insertnamehere) of Tredony to my new blade.  I call it 'Pokey' and it sure likes meeting new people."

Also: True fact:  If you fail to kill the unicorn it's a -40 focus debuff and it says "that's what you get for messing with a unicorn"  The name of the moodlet is Unicorn Horn Wound.  It downgrades into Woundus Majorem "Ow, thatius hurtae!"

That particular wizard didn't have elf ears but I'm still trying to figure that out.  There are so many hairstyles (that one up there included) that seem to hide the ears it makes it frustrating.
