What are your Achievements?
« on: March 28, 2011, 02:09:26 PM »
Of the 100+ achievements possible in Sims Medieval, I've managed to achieve several.  The funniest one is Dead Sim Walking (create a large kingdom with low well-being).  I wasn't aiming for that achievement, but at that point I really didn't understand the aspects and I guess the quests I chose weren't the ones promoting well-being.

Any other odd or interesting achievements you've managed to earn?

On Vacation - Have Beacon of Hope on for 48 hours.   I used the ReRollQuests thing until I could get a quest where I could my wizard for that quest.  I'm doing the Imperial Domination Ambition and since I had to annex all the countries anyway I'm purposefully choosing my knight, spy or monarch over and over to get all of the reputation achievements for having max rep.

Funny Story Though - I was just getting mad because I'm down to my last 8 QP to finish off this kingdom and I wanted to be done with it already but all I was getting was 2 QP quests and I couldn't understand it.   I just read the benefit for having Advorton.  Advorton benefit is -1 QP on all 3-4 QP quests.  ::facepalm::

My very first achievement was one where I completed a responsibility with 15 minutes or less left on the timer.  I didn't realize I had cut it that close.   :o

The one I'm most proud of so far is getting my first legendary trait.  I turned my wizard from fool to wise.  I haven't made a concerted effort to earn achievements - I have enough else to focus on with leveling my sims and trying to complete quests at platinum level.  I'm sure once I've played a few games through I will think more about achievements.

I don't know what the name of the Achievement was but my Monarch received one for being universally liked by her Kingdom which was really cool  :)

Actually after finishing 2 platinum ambitions the achievements are the main thing that keep me playing this game for long hours. I made a tread "Achievements" for those interested you should check it out.

Made woohoo with my monarch 25 times for the achievement and the 25'Th time I was caught by my servant getting the embarrassed mood  ;D

Also the 24h drunkard achievement took me like an hour to figure it out.

I hadn't really given much thought to the achievements.  I was a little disappointed that although the Ambitions are different, the quests are used over and over again although with different Heroes.  (*Gasp* I think that's the first negative thing I've said about the Sims in a long time).  I kind of like the challenge aspect of the achievements.  Will look into that further.  Thanks guys for some inspiration!

There are some fun/interesting achievements to go for.  I just completed an ambition with 5 gluttons and 5 drunks, for one achievement.  Also every hero in that ambition had the Whale trait, for another achievement.  Trying to complete the achievements forces you to try different things, which I like.  According to the Prima Guide, achievement points unlock new clothing and objects as well.

I received the Dead Man Walking Achievement and thought it was cute.  Last night I received the One Rich Sim Achievement for my Blacksmith.  I was very surprised when that one popped up because I wasn't paying attention to how much money he had.
