Justin Case lives in Twinbrook except his name is spelled: Justin Kayes. :D
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

Now I'm sitting here saying 'Justin Keyes' out loud, using several different accents.   ;D

Like CSquared2, I also love those corny, punny type names.  Rather sadly, I have a whole list of them that I add to whenever I think up a new one.  Sad but 'Juan Derfool', I have to be careful not to 'Buster Bloodvessel' giggling, I sometimes wonder if I have a 'Lewis Crewe' as I'm often 'Miles Away' for some 'Ray Zun'.  I'll stop now.  Sorry.

I enjoy those names but they need the last name to work. I haven't got very far yet in any legacy or dynasty but, when I have played, I sometimes use a last name that I can bounce ideas off.  For example the Day family could include Raine and Sonny... hmm not used those yet and there's  Baby Boomer Challenge looming. I'm off to write down some ideas, thanks for the inspiration, everyone.

That made me laugh, probably because I was doing the exact same thing!

@Gheez "Body" is another last name for which there are a great number of possible punny first names.   ;D

Snort.  ;D
Very true. Does he have a brother called Ferrari?

Nope, I was thinking Cooper. You guys gave me an idea for my first dynasty, as soon as I learn the key steps into creating a dynasty.

I'm thinking Radio too. Like Radio Flyer, as in the red wagon.

I just name all my sims after my friends. Most of them aren't all that creative of names but then I try to make the sim look like them so it's fun. (if only they knew)

The founder of my Historical Legacy is Neon Darthel (last name Historian). I used to have a Legacy where I named Sims after Moderators of Simming Forums (I couldn't do this Forum because it wasn't approved by the Moderators here).

I used to be part of a forum where simselves were shared quite freely.  My simself participated in several challenges, including being the "sane" sim in an asylum.  If everyone is careful to be respectful, it can be great fun.   ;D

I like to use names of some of the moons of planets in the solar system.  I think some of them are really pretty, though I doubt I would ever use most of them for a real child  :P

Saturn's Moons
Daphis, Pandora, Prometheus, Janus, Aegaeon, Anthe, Pallene, Calypso, Dione, Helene, Rhea, Titan, Hyperion, Phoebe

Mars' Moons
Phobos, Deimos

Jupiter's Moons
Adrastea, Amalthea, Thebe, Europa, Callisto, Leda, Lysithea, Elara, Thyone, Chaldene, Aoede, Cyllene

Neptune's Moons
Despina, Galatea, Larissa

Uranus' Moons (Many of these are from Shakespeare's works)
Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind, Belinda, Perdita, Miranda, Ariel, Oberon

Other random names I use commonly - Natalie, Zaire, Brynn, Bronwyn, Lila, Everett, Benjamin, Chloe, Jenna, Hallie, Quinn, Xander, Keegan, Illa, Coral, Morgan
So many sims!!!

Those names are beautiful, loveofcake! I really like Calypso, Phoebe (I have a friend called that. I think it's really pretty), Elara, Larissa and especially all the names from Shakespeare!

I thought I'd contribute my latest theme of Sim names, that could be used for an immortal dynasty, or legacy. I was thinking a royal theme of Queen Elizabeth II and her descendents. I might try this out for an immortal dynasty soon.
Names and their diminutives:

Phillip: Phillipe, Phil, Felipe, Fernando, Philly, Filippo
Elizabeth: Eliza, Liz, Lizzy, Liza, Beth, Bella, Betty, Bessy, Betsy
Charles: Chuck, Charlie, Carlos, Carl, Carlo, Chuckie
Diana: Dianne, Dianna, Diane, Dionne, Dyanne, Dina
Camilla: Camille
William: Will, Willie, Bill, Billy, Liam
Henry/Harry: Hank, Hal, Enrique, Henri, Harrison, Rico
Catherine/Kate: Kathryn, Katie, Catie, Cate, Katy, Kat, Kathleen, Kathrine, Katrina, Trina, Kaitlin, Katerina, Karen, Karina
Phillipa/Pippa: Phyllis

Precious Jewels:
Diamond, Pearl, Ruby, Silver, Gold/Goldie, Emerald, Sapphire, Topaz, Opal, Aquamarine, Garnet, Peridot, Amythist

I was wondering where this thread had gone.

With the advent of horse racing in Sims 3, I've come up with another punny name: Placier Betz.   :D

To expand on FTLOC's concept, you can use the names of the planets. Most of them are actual names of roman gods or goddesses.
