Knowledge of the Past- Landgraab Chateau

i'm in the middle of "Knowledge of the Past" adventure. i'm in Landgraab Chateau trying to find the keystone and i have no luck. i toured most of the castle (i can't get into the library but i don't think that i need to for that adventure) but i can't find the stupid stone. in carl's guide it says:
"Get inside the area and head to the Landgraab Cellar key door, which is oddly enough found in the tower accessible from the ground floor." what tower? i don't see any tower and i think that the cellar is visible but i can't get there. If you know how to get into the cellar please guide me like you would guide a lost little girl

Revital, welcome to the forum!

The door to the cellar is in fact in the tower. With the camera outside the mansion facing it, you can see a "tower" to the right of the main entrance, this is where your Sim is headed.

With your Sim standing in the hallway between the main entrance (at the front of the house) and the dining room (to the left if you're facing towards the front of the property), head through the double doorway just to the left of the main entrance. This room is empty except for a flight of stairs. Follow the stairs up to level 3 (I believe) and you should see the shining key pad for the adventure key your Sim has.

Thanks but how do I open the second door to the left of the entrance? I can't find any trigger

It's not the second door to the left of the entrance, it's the first door next to the entrance.

The walk-though Anushka linked is fabulous, that's where I go for all my WA tomb questions (yay for bookmarks).
