@Joria:

Did you check your video RAM by using the steps I put in the original post?  256 MB is what the game calls for.

I think a couple of you are looking at the wrong thing.  You don't want total available graphics memory.  You want dedicated video memory.  For example, mine is 512 MB.

OK, so my 'Dedicated' Video Memory is 1024 MB so I should have no problems then, right?

Looks good.  Just to be certain, check this link for all of the computer requirements to run the game.

Mine says 128 but which one do you go by to know if you can play the game? ;D

Thanks Pam  :).  I have 465 GB of free space and I know I have a 2.67 GHz processor, so those bases are covered.   I also checked my gaming performace rating and it says I have a 5.8 rating, so I think I am off to buy to the game.

1024 Dedicated video but still having some trouble.  There must be something else.  How do I check regular RAM?  Hmm, could have a ton of music, (ITunes) and photos in an editor cause a lot of slow down?  If so those pics are going on discs!
What?  Grannies can't play games?

@Thomas:

As far as the video card memory and CPU, yes, you should be able to run it.  But I can't see the other requirements on your screenshot.

Windows 7 only needs 1.5GB Ram and I have 2. I have around 15MB on the CDRIVE space. My Dad thinks I have everything I need for it. What else was missing?

It sounds good so far, but check the link at the bottom of the first post on this thread to see the exact requirements straight from EA, just to be sure.

Excellent!  I'm glad you checked everything first.  Let us know if you get the game and how you like it.

I should get it by the end of the week when I order it. One website I use had the limited edition £10 cheaper than the normal! Another site had it as £30 for the limited which I will be ordering about now.  :D

Hello - This is my first official post!

I have experienced failure of my video card where my screen goes black, then goes back into the game, then black again. My video card is a NVIDIA Ge Force 9300 GE with 256MB of dedicated video memory. Is this sufficient to run the game? I bought my computer in 2008 and that was the card it came with then.
