The Pit (Grim Reaper)

I think there is a new Grim Reaper, hehe I killed a man and this winged thing came and it said Grim Reaper when I put my cross-hair on him. Not sure if it's just a reference to The Sims series or its a new one.

It's Grim, just dressed up like the angel of death. Pretty cool in my opinion :) However, the whole afterlife thing is pretty much taken out. I haven't seen any ghosts yet and Grim seems to split after taking them without hanging out afterward.

He doesn't always show up when a person dies in the pit. I also find it strange it's easy to survive the pit if you go in there, but if you sentence someone to death they die easy. Well OK my queen's husband lived lol. ;D

Thanks :) I read that you can get a special item from fighting the beast in the pit. I'll definitely be trying that when I get home, with a level 10 Knight or Sorcerer.

Its the beast in the Pit Of Judgment, you can fight it but all I have gotten is 200 XP.

I had him show up today after someone was sent to the pit.  The monster spit the bones out and a few seconds later, the grim showed up.  I got a picture of it, but it looks just like the one Carl posted. :)

Having a high-level fighter sim (monarch, knight, assassin, sorcerer) with good armor and weapons surely helps a lot, but my "naked" level 2 blacksmith was able to survive, so it is possible with nooby-sims too.

I watched the executioner feed the beast in the pit a huge haunch of meat. After the beast retreated into the fog the executioner changed into her armor and jumped into the pit. When I checked the plank my only option was to watch the battle. I noticed that there did not seem to be a battle, instead there were hearts drifting up through the fog (play time?) and after a while the executioner climbed out of the pit.

My best guess is get your hero to as high a level as possible, feed the beast, then switch to full armor and have at it.

It might be the Doomsword hilt or the Doomsword blade - both items can be gotten from the pit and are needed to forge the Doomsword - forging it will also give you an achievement, though the sword itself has a bit of a handicap attached to it.

Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or throw this in here but...

OMG I sent my king on a patrol and went over to see what the Queen was doing and she was being lead to the stocks!  I'm like ??? what did she do my Monarch didn't order it.  (even if she did skip out on post wedding woohoo to go to church!)  Cripe she's carrying the heir at that!

Anyone else had any interesting happenings with the stocks and or the pit?

I recently had quest where I was supposed to kill the bandit.  I thought I challenged her to a fight to the death but she got back up so I sent my first sim to the pit!!  Darn bandit put up one epic fight!
