That is ok, no problem.  Actually, I was hoping the toddler would look more like Max, lol. ;D
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Here's the update:

This is Preston Wan, son of Pauline Wan and Hank Goddard.

He is definitely his father's son.  :P  The vampiness is from Hank.

This is Araceli Andrews, daughter of Beau and Victoria Andrews.

While she looks a lot like her mother, she's stocky like her father.  And while it's difficult to see it in this picture, both her and her mother are vampires as well.

And this is Dwayne Bachelor, son of Bella Bachelor and Mortimer Goth.

His genetics are sort of split down the middle, although he does favor his mother just a bit more.  Likewise, Bella gave birth to him while she and Mortimer were not only unmarried, but living in different houses.  Oh the scandal!  :o

Another thing I discovered is that Sunny Bakashi moved into the house next door to Agnes Crumplebottom (or rather, the late Agness Crumplebottom), along with her homeless housemates Abraham Finkel and Ian Bowler.  She and Abraham actually got married, and had a daughter.  While neither of them are really "original townies" per se, I wanted to post a couple of pics anyways because something interesting happened with their genetics.

This is Lakshmi Finkel:

She looks a lot like her father with her mother's nose.  But what I found interesting is this:

She has her father's base hair color with her mother's highlights.  I plan to bring her into the active household as soon as she's an adult to see what I can do with her genetics myself.

EDIT:  No word on the Hatch/Sword situation as of yet.  They're still boyfriend and girlfriend (or possibly engaged, I'm not sure which), he's old and she's a vampire.  Oddly enough, it seems to suit her fashion sense lol.

And this will break all of your hearts:  It seems that Christopher Steel and Xander Clavell became an item and have decided to grow old together.  Story progression is a cold, cruel mistress, is it not?  Disregard that:  it seems that they're just roommates.  My bad.  :P

That's interesting! I've never a seen a child get both a mixture of their mom and dad's hair. Chris Steel and that Clavell guy moved in together? Story progression can do random things.

I've never a seen a child get both a mixture of their mom and dad's hair.

I've seen a child inherit only part of one of their parents hair color (in the case of odd color combinations), but I've never seen a mix of both parent's hair colors, either.

I had a sim that I created myself when I first started playing that had hair that was a bright red base color, with blue roots, green highlights and purple tips.  My goal was to see how the genetics actually worked.  She had 4 kids:  one inherited her exact hair color(s), two had their father's hair color (which was the darker blonde), and one had bright red hair identical to her mother's base hair color (she lost the other 3 colors).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is actually Abraham's hair. He has red streaks in it when he starts.

Daughter of Agnes Crumplebottom and Christopher Steel, Joss looks like her Mother but with so many of her Father's features, that Mouth and Nose are really strong Genetics! :-X

I think it's because she gets a lot of her facial features from Chris anyway, if it looks okay on Chris then it looks okay on his genes, the mouth just doesn't mix with other genes well!

I definitely agree!! At least his kids aren't ugly like kids from the Judy and Jack Bunch. The Bunch kids are fine but when they reproduce with other sims it's argh I can't think about it. Do you get the point?

I wonder why I never noticed that in my game?  This time around, both Abraham and Sunny were in their twilight years by the time I discovered Lakshmi.

I just got some very random hair genetics.

This is Saffron Steel the daughter of Christopher Steel and Blair Wainright.

I have no clue where the unusual hair colour came from.

I don't have any hair colours saved or anything like that. She didn't get it from either of her parents or grandparents.

Weird. She's beautiful though! Only thing I thought was Blair is blond, but Chris is brown so it's not mixed. That is definitely strange!

I just had another look at Boyd Wainwright it looks as if Saffron got her grandads hair colour. I never really took much notice of it before.
