Children Born to Original Townies - Sims 3

Did some stuff for a story in the making, of course if townie children can be involved they will be. And split across two towns too! Twinbrook first...



Made Skeet and Gwayne Bayless have three kids, for starters. These names were all random but extremely fitting for a family of angling rednecks: Marlin, Darlene, and Arlene. Marlin ended up being the one with descendants (his daughter is very lovely!) but Darlene actually turns out to be a fantastic base to make sims off of. She's mostly Skeet, who kind of looks like a troll but if you had to ask me, has the best genes in a very shallow gene pool. I'm sure you could save Arlene with a makeover but I wasn't up for it.



Triplets ensued as well for Notzo Curious and homeless townie Cho Sonwhun, who were a vampire and a werewolf respectively. I put my favorite child in the middle again...forget all their names but she's very stylish and sly-looking. Again, definitely potential with everyone but they were meant to fill a party scene.

And now a long flight to Dragon Valley awaits.





To the genes I liked but ultimately wasted: the twins of Nessie Lochlan and Hugh Grey (daughter's name was Mor), and the son of Sean and Ava Kelly. Sean and Ava had triplets but I was about to do great things with him based on the outfit alone. Yeehaw.

My point was to get red sims specifically. So both Mor and her brother were red, but then we got to ultra red:



The O'Reilly kid who's name I forgot but kept calling Baba O'Reilly. She's the one Chloe was pregnant with at the start of the game, super-lovely sim of course. I was trying to get a gender balance but failed when her brother (shot for multiples) was green like dad. And my last pair didn't produce any guys who weren't kinda off.



Fionola O'Neill was born to original firefighter Meaghan O'Neill and Quinn Flanagan. Meaghan is red, Quinn is purple, I ended up having to change Fionola to red after taking this pic. She was born this way after all. Pretty sim! She has her mother's face and her dad's smile, which was the whole point to me (the end point of the line was supposed to be red and just a little mischievous looking). The power of same-sex pregnancy mods got me to where I needed with her and the O'Reilly daughter.

@Trip I've never played Dragon Valley but I love that purple haired sim!

I haven't posted in a while as I've been having problems with EA not signing me in and haven't been able to get back into my game but last time I played I took another visit to Island Paradise and was able to save these ones

Aubrey. She's beautiful and really strikes me as a confident plus size model.  Despite Alfonso having an affair and kid with Florita Hernandez Lopita was determined to make her marriage work and they were somehow able to get it back on track and have Aubrey together.

The sons and daughters of Parker Langerak age from Young Adult all the way through to (I think) yet to be born. With the exception of the daughter Parker had with Tiffanie Ursine (the unborn baby Ursine at the start of the game), all the mothers of Parker's kids are original townies of Sunset Valley. Here are three of them now. I've also included links ot the mothers if you need to see them.


This is Vicente Hatch. He's the oldest of Parker Langerak's children in my Shayde family dynasty. His mother is Emma Hatch. I am not an expert on such things, but I think he gets a lot of looks from mum, Emma rather than dad, well the hair colour is Parker's, but everything else seems to be Emma. He is the current Consignment Store Specialist in Sunset Valley.


Next in line is Maria Alto, one of the daughters of Parker. Holly Alto is her mother. It seems that Holly's genes are pretty strong in her.


Say hi to Elisha Wolff, the son of Parker and Morgana Wolff. Trip advises me that the hair colour comes from Parker's father, Dustin Langerak. Don't know what he did to the cat he was carrying as a child.


Coming out of school on Thursday, week 7 is Nelson McIrish, the son of Parker and River McIrish. From his eyebrow colour, his hair could be from either mum or dad. I don't know what it is, but I think that outfit looks good on him.

@Deklitch: Nelson is actually a nice blend of both his parents, feature-wise. The baldness combined with the Chinese attire makes me think of a monk of sorts, or a chef. Maybe that's also why you like it?

Ok so I am back and decided to do something a little different - a bit of a speed dating challenge with some of the neglected OG townie couples!
Firstly I moved the chosen couples all into one household that consisted of 4 small houses with all the essentials. (Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom) then I split the couples up. (Make sure to take time off work too!)
Each guy gets to spend 1 sim day locked in with the female sim and are left to their own devices before switching at the end of the sim day.
I had the man make the woman breakfast and initiate a cuddle on the sofa half way through the day but everything else was up to them.

The chosen couples to take part are:
Morgana and Thorton Wolf
Pauline and Hank Goddard
Justine and Marty Keaton
Victoria and Beau Andrews

The Results:
None of the girls were intrested in Marty Keaton. (He just wanted to work out and didn't make an effort to get to know any of them.)
Beau did well but was left in the friend zone by all but Pauline Wan. (Who went in for a kiss after a cuddle despite having 0 relationship)
Hank and Thorton however, did very well.  Victoria wasn't intrested in Hank (Her book was more intresting) and Justine wasn't intrested in Thorton but everyone else was intrested.
Ironically enough Morgana and Hank faired best along with Pauline and Thorton. WIFE SWAP.

Colour me surprised too. They had 0 relationship but were still up for a cuddle and kiss on the sofa!

Leela. Lovely! (Just for the record Justine had already had baby Keaton when I started this challenge to keep everything fair.)

...Because of how well these two particular couples got on. I gave fertility treatment to all 4 sims and married them off.

There's not much variety in terms of colouring but I actually really like this pairing and all 4 of their kiddos!

This is an unusual pairing but I actually really like it and as soon as Hank comes home from work the first thing he does is make a beeline for Morgana to give her a smooch! <3 There genes work lovely together. I particurally like how well Hanks red hair works with Morganas blue eyes!

Morgana and Thornton usually have one or two blondes if they have kids in a game of mine. Since your Thornton got one as well, I assume it is him who produces them.

I love Victoria and Beau. And I love that their kids look like them in your experiment

Also, I find it funny that Hank got no lookalikes Morgana is kind of bland-looking in my opinion, whereas Pauline also has strong genes in my games.

With Thornton, I feel it's a hit or miss. I've had daughters from him and Morgana, who were slight of build like their mother, but had big heavy faces from Thornton.

@Nindigo Really? I've never had blondes from either of them unless they've been paired with a blonde sim (namely Thorton with Jamie Jolina)

Hehe Victoria is really pretty but I'm not a fan of Beau You'll be pleased to hear they did get back together and raise their 4 kids together after this experiment though.

Aww I like Morgana but I do get what you're saying. I'm both surprised and not surprised there was no Hank lookalike too! Morgana has had several kids in various saves and her genes are always strong xD

Ok so if you don't know me by now, then you know I love having a save dedicated to a 'player' sim (I've used Jared Frio, Arlo Bunch, Don Lothario, Juan Darer and possibly more before now) and inspired by my speed-dating experiment, I decided it was time for Hank Goddard to play. Everyone got on so well with him in my little experiement and he has the lifetime wish to be a heartbreaker and break 10 sims hearts and what better way then producing babies along the way!

Well, I have never been a fan of Bella's facial features in The Sims 3...or in The Sims 4, for that matter.

Emma Hatch has had some rather stern-looking kids in my games, too.

Garrett is definitely a cutie. I prefer him over Shaun tbh

Bebe always gives her kids those trademark droopy eyes.

Aggie's son can't be mistaken for someone else's. I think it's the sort of sucked-in cheeks combined with high cheekbones that create a particular crease near the outer corner of his eyes. Plus the shape and dark color of the eyes.
Because his mouth does not really resemble hers.

@Nindigo No problem. Sunset Valley is always my favourite to play and I think it's like you said, being from the base world means they some of the most well known! I like to play in other worlds but I don't remember everyone as much. I agree Garrett is my fave but I do love Shaun too and yes! Emma always has stern looking kids that take after her! Also, I love Bebes droopy eyes!

Todays lucky lady is Claire Ursine! Now I had originally planned to do a bit of a baby challenge and have her birth as many kids with as many different dads as possible. However she ended up being really cute with the first guy and I couldn't split them up... So...

Madison and Monika usually end up as sister-in-laws in my game but usually it's the other way round (Madison x Connor, Monika x Jared though Madison has been with Jared a few times aswell) Monika and Connor though? Completely new to me! I like this turn of events though! There genes mis well and produce some good looking kids! Kinda sad their all related or I'd be tempted to pair them up xD

This is what actually inspired me to do the speed-dating challenge and hence why I chose not to include these ladies in Hanks baby challenge.

Firstly I moved the Altos and Landgraabs into the same house as in an old save where I split every couple up to see what new couples would form, I had Nick and Nancy get together and I wanted to see how easy that would be to replicate and see if Vita and Geoffrey was an option....

Before I started that though, I decided to give Nancy and Geoffrey one last child together first

Athena. She's actually really cute. I'm not a Malcolm fan so I didn't expect this but it seems she got the best of both!

But onto the challenge...
Nancy and Nick were super easy to get together. They went from frenemies to besotted lovers very very quickly all it took was a bit of work talk, friendly banter and some flirting.

Together they had Carina, Don

Honestly recommend people trying this pairing. Nick and Nancy were constantly swooning & smooching! Nicks a hands on dad and Nancy even got involved too!

However, Vita and Geoffrey were an absolute no-no. No matter how hard I tried they could not move out of the enemy zone. Every time they took a small step forward they took two back and were constantly bored by each other so after trying and trying, I eventually gave up.

Dorie and Geoffrey got together in my last save and quickly got together in this save too and had

Coy, Laron and Jenny
I love Dorie to bits but there's hardly any Geoffrey in her kids!

And in a surprising turn of events, Vita set her eyes on Gus! (but she had to give him a Vita-approved makeover first and keep their relationship on the down low!)
