Question: Do children of original townie NPCs [like maids or firemen or burglars] count? The current file I have has a townie married to an original townie burglar NPC.

The rules don't explicitly say that the original townie in question has to be a resident. and I've seen plenty of people post the children of original homeless townies. Just note that they're really the original NPCs you get when you first play the town.

Also, I tend to find that if Sims Wiki has a profile on them, that means they're original and not randomly generated.

I would say that they do not count.  They are in the town, but an NPC isn't the same as a Townie.

This is Faith MacDuff from Moonlight Falls as an Elder. She is prettier as an elder than YA or Adult, I think! She's a child when the game starts and my Immortal Dynasty Founder married her. She's still alive in my game right now but Grimmy will come for her soon

Out of all of them one inherited Morgana's eye color (Alexia), one inherited Leighton's nose (Winter), and two managed to pick up a mutant gray eye color (Jeremy and Abby).
