I'm giggle snorting like a pro up here in Canada. Why? Because I've got this mental image of Carl and Metro meeting at the train station. The line that goes with it? "I thought you'd be taller."

Hey Pam, any chances of you giving up that photo? :D

I'm never up this late. It's 12:30 AM in Illinois. I talked to Carl on the phone for an hour earlier this evening just to stay up later. Plus, he reminded me again of the impending vacation. "Don't forget to pick me up, old man."

So, why am I up so late? Well, Carl's train comes in to Crawfordsville, IN at 6:58 AM Monday morning. It's a 2 hour drive from Bloomington, plus, Crawfordsville is an hour ahead. That means I'm leaving at 4 AM! Birds do not get up at 4 AM. Bottom line — to get a full nights' sleep tomorrow night means I need to be so tired that I'll actually want to go to bed at 8 PM. Hopefully, my plan works and I'll be alert and raring to go when Carl steps off the train because I don't want to collapse in his arms and start snoring.

Lol yeah, Hosfac cracks me up. Ohio's not a great place to travel anyway. Ask one of us. I'm on the worst end anyway, but there are some better areas. It'll be a blast meeting Metro< I'm just anxious to get the train ride over with. I've built it up to the point that it's the scariest part in my mind. But doing this will make it easier on me when I finally do try to travel and meet Pam. The ride to her home is literally 24 hours by train.

All I can say is you better be there. I'm just glad everyone knows where I'm going for the illinois butcher won't have his prey.

I know you guys will have a blast.  After actually talking to both of you, I already know I will hear you all the way down here in Florida.  Too bad we can't all find a neutral place and meet.  That would be alot of fun.  Metro and Carl, together, for a week, now that is epic, lol. ;D

I'm shore you'll have a blast and that we'll have fantastic Medieval Guide. Maybe one day in a future there will be Carl's gaming camp or something, so we can all get together and play play play ;D

I don't suppose you'd be thinking of crossing the Pacific any time soon? I hear Sydney's a great place to visit. :P Though I imagine it'd be a long train trip...

Have fun you two! I'll be interested in what you think of Medieval, since I'm not going to buy it until I'm sure it's worth it.

I promise you'll get my honest opinion about it, but I'm actually excited. It sounds very different from what we have so far. How could they go wrong? Ok. They could. I've seen enough that I'm personally really excited about the new game so nothing could deter me from it. Unless something goes categorically wrong you can be sure we'll be here writing.

I'm still awake! I'm not exactly sure if I'm entirely coherent (Well, am I ever?) But, I'll try and make it to 6 or 7 PM tonight and then hopefully get a full 8 hours of sleep tonight. All I can say is given what I'm putting my body through just to pick up Carl tomorrow at the crack of dawn, I'm expecting nothing less than the greatest day of my life. I'm talking about the kind of excitement my 5-year-old is going to have on Tuesday when she strolls into Disney World.

I'm with Pally on the not buying until I know more. I am kind of restricted on buying too many games at once so I want to know if it will be worth the money or if I can wait or not.

Ohio's not a great place to travel anyway. Ask one of us.

Ohio has more construction barrels than it does people.  Plus the orange cone is our state flower.

Packing is such a chore. Tip: make a checklist and don't try to wing it the day of or you'll be a little freaked out like me.

Oh wow, the meeting up of Carl and Metro, momentous!  :D So Carl, will you be calling Metro Metro or will it be first name basis?

Anyhow, I'm sure it will all go wonderfully well, and let us all know how it went. (Yup, i'm being nosy and curious)

I haven't once called Tom Metro but he does call me Mr. Ratcliff sometimes :P  I did make it here. The train ride was really long and I'm glad it's over and so's my bottom. I think we'll just be taking a hang out day before heading to Walmart bright and early tomorrow to pick up Medieval :D
