Report time: it's a success!I found it in Belgium in a Free Record Shop. I don't know if you have those in NL. I was a bit late so I didn't check too much in other shops, but the Fnac and there, they didn't know what it is. I think Hema and Kruidvat also sell Wallie cards.
It's not a 'card' really but a code printed on the ticket from the register. You can purchase 5, 10, 20 & 50 euros worth cards.
Then on EA site, it's pretty straightforward too. It seems the only point to check is that you must be logged under your real location settings, so for me it was French/Belgium for instance [
*see below]. Then, under My Account in the Store section, you click on Purchase Simpoints => Wallie Card and you follow the steps (choose how many points you want to buy, accept some terms of contract...). At some point, you'll be send to a 'wallie screen' where you can enter the code you received at the retail shop. After confirmation, you are sent back to the store section and your account is credited with the amount of points you just bought. It can't be easier I think.
And then, I'm afraid I must confess it was the start of the shopping frenzy
*blushing*. Well, it was the first time in almost 2 years, so it's not that bad, right?
*: from what I've read on the different forums (US, BE, FR...), it seems that you have to be logged under the same local setting that the one of your mean of payment. An example should make this clearer: imagine an American person, with a US credit card, and living in the Netherlands. If he wants to buy simspoints with his US card, he will have to log under English/US settings, whether he lives there or not. At least, this is what I've understood.
