I probably play anywhere between 1-3.5 a day. Some days slightly more and some days not at all. I've got 2 young kids so I don't get much chance anymore  :( whereas before they were born I would sometimes spend all day playing Sims 2 when my husband was at work (I used to work shifts). I'm a SAHM now and I have 3 mornings a week where both children are at nursery so I sometimes play then if I don't have food shopping etc to do and I also play in the evening after they've gone to bed if my husband is away with work. He's doesn't understand my love of the Sims so just mocks me if I try to play it when he's around lol!! Joh, I'd love it if my husband was like yours and let me play on the weekend!

The longest I have played was from about 7 am until about 4 am that next morning.  My spouse was away and I was able to just do my thing.  I did take bathroom breaks (right across the hallway) and grabbed coffee and munchies, but that was usually when I was doing a save.  That way I didn't miss anything ;). 
It was fun but sure tired me out though as I think I am getting too old for all nighters :(.

Usually, I wake up, eat breakfast, play for 4-odd hours, possibly go out (got to shake off that stir-crazy moodlet somehow! The moodlet manager's in the shop! ;D), then I sneak in 4 or 5 hours more, dinner somewhere in there, and go to bed. Then think how I should improve my dynasty. (In case you haven't read my other posts, I'm obsessed with finishing that. Well.)

Yes well, that's my record. Usually it's more like 6 to 10 hours at a time.

I don't have a lot of time to play most of the time, I go to college full time and I have a full time job also, so I usually work in two - three hours at night if I don't have homework. This week though, since it's Spring Break and I developed an awful case of bronchitis I've been home doing nothing but playing Sims. Tuesday I put in about 14 hours. It's excessive, but since I never get to marathon like that I think it's ok.  :D

I love this! This is probably the funniest thing I've read today lol. Anyways, I'm on SSI (for my depression and other things) so I can play whenever I want. The longest I've ever played is like 15 hours. Normally it's between 1 to 3 hours a day but there are occasions I get in the mood and play 6 to 8! I just love the way you can play for many many hours and never run out of things to do!

I usually play for 2-3 hours at a time on average - but that's only because my game loves to crash on my while I'm playing my dynasty game. I keep going back into it, but after so many crashes, I give up for the day/night... or at least for a few hours ;)

Longest I've played is about 10-12 hrs before.
I usually play everyday for 2-6 hrs but I wish I had more time to play, considering work, expecting a baby and sharing a computer.

I work four days a week, so the other three are usually in front of the computer, forum then sims.  Sometimes, it takes most of the morning to go through the forum, alot more members and posts than 6 months ago, which is great.  I think the most I have played is about 12 hours.  I probably could have played more, but I was going cross eyed, lol.  I think that day, I must have played both, dynasty and story and put two updates on each.  As anyone knows that write these stories, it is work and takes alot of time. :)

100% the same here! I think I must have admitted playing the sims 3 to maybe 5 people max in more than 7 years. And when I say playing, it's a rather vague concept. I've never told anybody, besides the fellow players on forums, exactly how much time I can spend on this game.

I think that my 'best stat ever' was with the sims 2, maybe around 20 hours? A whole evening + night + morning... Way too long! I had a dreadfull face the next evening.

Since the sims 3, my computer can't handle such marathon sessions anymore and that's a good thing. So I play 2-3 hours in a row, but very often... ;)

What a fun topic! Where everyone here understands! I have 3 kids under 6 so I don't get a lot of time until they go to bed, so I'm lucky to get 2 hours now, but I've been playing the sims games from the beginning, Sim Ant, Sim Life and all the rest so I could play them for the whole day on the weekends! Such fun :)
