Help me with my gardener , Please !

Hello , I have been away from the game and the forum for few months , I think . It's great to find you still going on well
I just need a little help , my Sim has level 10 gardening (mastered) and she has a wish to plant the money tree , but I don't know how to do that or where to find its seed !? (I have no expansions at all! )

You'll want to look up locations of special seeds around the town you play in, they can be life fruit, flame fruit, or money trees randomly.  Plant a whole bunch of them, and you will end up with money trees.

If your playing in Sunset Valley, there are alot of special seeds around the graveyard and science facility.  You really won't know what they are until you plant them.  The only one you can tell what it is before it actually grows, is the money tree.  When you see a little sprig and mouse over it, you can tell it is a tree, will be kind of pinkand it is a small picture, buy you can tell it is a tree.  The others could be anything, death flower, life fruit or flame fruit.  I am not too sure about Riverview, I really have not played that game as much as Sunset Valley.  Also in Sunset Valley, there are a few seeds around the Alto and Landgraab's house on Summerhill.  Good luck.

The guide has great maps for finding money tree seeds, that's how I found them.

Pam mentioned in another post that money trees are more golden that others. (Look at all the special seeds you have. Ones that are more golden are money trees.)

I think she also said that she hasn't noticed it lately, too.

But either way, just keep planting special seeds until you get one.  Once it sprouts, you'll know what it is.  When you mouse over it, it shows you what the plant will look like when it's grown.  The money tree is the only tree that grows out of a special seed.  Anything else, if you don't need it you can just get rid of it.

Yes, it's true that I used to be able to see a golden color on Money Tree seeds, and also that I don't see it anymore.  I don't know if it's because they are no longer golden or if it's because I have my graphics settings turned down.  Another way to help identify the Money Tree seeds is to drag one as if you're going to sell it.  If it's worth $0, it's either a Money Tree seed or a Deathflower seed.  Life Fruit and Flame Fruit seeds have a value.  Also, check the Guide for information on Special Seeds.

I didn't find my money tree yet , but my Sim keeps picking up
but she has just harvested a flame fruit and a life fruit! the problem is , I don't know what to do with these !?

Lots of things  

The flame fruit can just be kept in the inventory for the 'cozy' moodlet. Or it can be used in a recipe that needs a random fruit, like flamefruit pancake. It is also used in the Angel cake. And you can use it in Nectar. There's a thread somewhere on the WA board that has lots of nectar recipies.

The life fruit can be eaten to to gain one day of life (the days left to live goes back one). It is also used to make Ambrosia. And, it can also be used in Nectar.

I haven't tried the mixologist skill yet but I think they can be used in that. Maybe somebody else here in this forum can tell you more about that.

The flame fruit if carried in you inventory gives a cozy fire +5 moodlet.
Used in cooking to make a Baked Angel Food Cake that give a warm fuzzies +15 moodlet when eaten.

The life fruit when eaten adds one day to you sims life.
Used in cooking to make Ambrosia that when eaten resets the sim life bar and gives a divine meal +75 moodlet
When Ambrosia is eaten by a ghost it will bring the ghost back to life.

Both are used in nectar making.

She have to be at least level 5 fishing to start with.  Once she has that, here's how the process goes:

• Go to the store and buy cheese.  Use that for bait at a spot where there are alley catfish.
• Find the spot where there are angelfish, and use the alley catfish as bait.
• Once you have some angelfish, go to the spot where the deathfish are.  They pop up after midnight and are only available until about 5am.  It depends on the town, but you can usually find them in the ponds at the graveyard.

You won't get a lot of deathfish at level 5, but you will get some.
