Has anyone considered what root dialect Simlish is based upon? Like most fictitious languages: Atlantean, Klingon, Apish/Tarzanese, the writers of these movies/books/TV series, had to develop the syntax for it with some root dialect. I know that in Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Atlantean is made up of several different languages, evidenced by the practice of various languages in the first encounter scene, with Kida and several guardians.

Nooboo means baby and chumcha means pizza! Also dag-dag means hello! that's just the things I've looked up!
