I received an email from someone trying to register that they weren't receiving an activation email to their hotmail account. This seems to affect hotmail.com, hotmail.co.uk, msn, and live accounts. I've fixed the email setting so that it looks more like it's coming from a human. I'm going to be either sending a mass activation email or going through one by one and allowing these people to come in.
If my beloved lurkers try to register in the future and do not receive the activation email (check Spam as well) send me an email at
[email protected] and I will take care of it. As far as I can tell, this is the only company that blocks php emails by default yet I suffered just as much spam using their service as any other.
I apologize for any inconvenience to the folks who registered days or even weeks ago and did not know how to contact me. I'll be putting my email back up on the guide to allow really important messages to come in. Unfortunately, I can't respond to every email. As you imagine I get a lot of questions that have already been answered by the members of this forum. Maybe I should look into a pre-written email to say, "Search the Forum"
As of 3/14 We are activating people who did not receive the email in batches so we will see a lot of new names around.
