Chapter 32:  Week 9, Friday Evening

Ah, l'amour!  What is there to say about young love?  All these teenagers in the Vandersim house, all these raging hormones.  Gregory has been wanting to kiss this young lady ever since he met her a week ago.  Finally, the moment has arrived.



I've never seen a nose quite like that, but they say love is blind.  Gregory and his sweetheart are happy, and that's what matters.

Friday evening Pippa and Sebastian sit chatting after everyone else has gone to bed.

Pippa:  Marilyn and Christopher are still here?  Why haven't they moved out?
Sebastian:  Didn't you know?  There's a baby on the way!  We can't kick them out now.




Sebastian continues:   Anyway, we've got plenty of room for them since we can't bring in any more orphans with only a week to go.
Pippa:  I guess.  You know, now that I'm a Vice President, they expect me to entertain the party faithful.  I'm supposed to throw a fundraiser party.  Remember all the parties we used to have?
Sebastian:  That was a long time ago.
Pippa:  I'm not sure I remember how to have a great party.



Sebastian:  You used to hand the guest list to Max and leave it up to him.
Pippa:  Oh my - what am I going to do?
Sebastian:  I'll cook something.  And put on some good music for dancing.



Pippa:  I know!  I'll invite the children all over for a party on Saturday.  It'll be great to see them all together again, and we can see how it goes.  Then have the fundraiser on Sunday.
Sebastian:  Sounds good.

Sure, Samoht, I'd be glad to write down the "rules" I set for myself.  The game will be finished in a week (game time), so probably 4 - 6 more posts or so.  Is that soon enough, or would you like it sooner?

Chapter 33:  Week 9, Saturday

Pippa and Sebastian have been trying and trying for weeks to get Graeme to come for a visit, to no avail - he always agrees to come, then says something has come up.  The life of a busy doctor!  But fortunately he turns up early for the party.  Sebastian has been wanting to have a talk with his son.

Sebastian:  Graeme, you know, as a doctor people look up to you.  If you want your patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle, you need to lead by example.  And frankly, my boy, you've always been heavier than you should be.



Sebastian continues:  Now, I have recently purchased a fantastic gadget called a Body Shaper to help Sims lose weight fast.  It's quite safe, and it really works.  Will you try it?

Graeme agrees, and I think you'll agree the results are a big improvement:

There they are - the ten orphans that Pippa and Sebastian have raised, all together for the first time!  I think they're all remarkably good-looking.  I wish it had been possible to invite their spouses to the party also, but just to remind you, here are their names, and it's a real who's who of Sunset Valley's founding families:  Debbie - Mortimer Goth; Graeme - Holly Alto; Jeremy - Darlene Bunch; Michael - Bella Bachelor; Reagan - Miraj Alvi; Cynthia is unmarried; Mary - Malcolm Landgraab; Marilyn - Christopher Steele.  Gregory and Gordon are unmarried, being still in school, but they both have their eye on a certain girl (not the same one).

That looks like quite a party!  Pippa and Sebastian must be so proud of themselves, being able to raise so many happy, fufilled children.

It's sad seeing them all together though, because it means this story is almost over...
